Hong Kong, with its unique charm,

is a beloved travel destination.

Today, for those of you planning a **Hong Kong trip**, I'll share

the **3-night, 4-day itinerary** I followed,

along with some **handy travel tips**!

Where Should I Stay?

If you haven't booked your Hong Kong accommodation yet,

I'd highly recommend **Ibis Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan**.

The Ibis Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan Hotel is

located in the **Sheung Wan area**, offering excellent access

**to public transportation and nearby attractions**.

Sheung Wan, in particular, boasts numerous delicious eateries

like Wa Lok Cafe and Bakehouse. Most are within walking distance,

making it incredibly convenient throughout your trip.

Plus, there's a Wellcome supermarket nearby, perfect for souvenir shopping.

You know how convenient it is to have a supermarket close by when you're traveling, right?

What's more, you can book a room with a Victoria Harbour ocean view

at a reasonable price, which significantly boosted my satisfaction!

Hong Kong Trip: 3 Nights, 4 Days Itinerary and Course

Now, let's dive into the **3-night, 4-day Hong Kong**

**itinerary**!

Just a heads-up, my flights were a morning departure from Incheon

and a daytime departure from Hong Kong, so keep that in mind when planning.

Day 1

On Day 1 of your Hong Kong trip, the plan is to **arrive in Hong Kong**,

**check into your hotel, and enjoy a night view walking tour**.

From Hong Kong Airport, you can take the A11 bus to get

to Sheung Wan in the city center.

If you pre-book a pre-loaded Octopus Card from your home country,

you can simply pick it up at the airport and hop straight onto the bus,

which will be super convenient!

After checking into the Ibis Hotel in Sheung Wan,

we enjoyed some Wanton Noodles and Pineapple Bun Waffles,

and then headed to Halfway Coffee for a delightful coffee break.

Halfway Coffee is incredibly popular,

so keep in mind there might be a wait!

Afterward, we explored the city and to fuel up before our evening night view tour,

we crossed over to Tsim Sha Tsui for some delicious goose rice

and Chung Hing Kee dumplings!

Both dishes seemed to perfectly suit Korean palates,

and I think they'd be a hit with many!

The absolute highlight of Day 1 was the Hong Kong Night View Tour!

The tour I joined whisked us through some of Hong Kong's most famous

night view spots, giving us a powerful, concise experience.

What made it even better was having a Korean guide lead the way,

providing insightful commentary and background stories.

The tour itinerary was packed with incredible sights, including the Temple Street Night Market,

the Symphony of Lights, a Star Ferry ride,

and Victoria Peak – truly a comprehensive experience!

Personally, among all the stops on the tour,

the Symphony of Lights and Victoria Peak

really showcased Hong Kong's nightscape at its best.

Plus, hearing the guide's explanations while soaking in the views

made the experience even more meaningful and memorable.

It truly was a day to remember!

Even after the tour ended, our guide stayed to help us

with directions and finding our way back to our accommodation,

ensuring we returned safely!

Day 2

Day 2 kicked off with some casual city exploration in the morning,

before heading to the ultimate highlight of any Hong Kong trip: Disneyland!

For breakfast at Wah Lok Cafe, we indulged in Tomato Noodles,

Hong Kong-style Milk Tea, French Toast, and more.

Every dish was incredibly delicious and surpassed all our expectations!

After our meal, we snapped some photos at the Graham Street Wall Art

and treated ourselves to tarts from Bakehouse and Vision Bakery for a snack.

Seriously, Hong Kong egg tarts are incredibly smooth

and sweet – a definite must-try for any dessert lover!

With our bellies full of sweet treats,

we then hopped on the Mid-Levels Escalator, which instantly brought to mind the film 'Chungking Express'.

Having an escalator right in the middle of the city

felt so unique and quite fascinating!

Next up, we dropped by the Man Mo Temple, which was just around the corner.

It's one of Hong Kong's oldest Taoist temples,

and it was wonderful to observe the local life and traditions.

If you have a wish close to your heart, this is a beautiful place to make it!

For lunch, we savored a delightful and filling array of dim sum,

before heading straight to Hong Kong Disneyland!

While Hong Kong Disneyland might not be the largest in size,

it's absolutely packed with magic, allowing you to fully embrace your inner child!

It's a theme park where you can truly feel the wonder of childhood.

Hong Kong Disneyland truly justifies the ticket cost with its incredible array of attractions, including the world's only Frozen-themed land,

the thrilling Iron Man Experience,

the spectacular Lion King musical, and so much more!

Make sure not to miss the grand finale – the fireworks and light show!

It's truly a must-see before heading back to the city.

With majestic music and captivating 3D characters dancing across the castle,

you'll feel a profound sense of wonder and emotion!

Day 3

Day 3 was dedicated to soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Hong Kong.

For breakfast, we found a cozy spot near Kennedy Town

and enjoyed a hearty meal of savory Youtiao and comforting congee.

Afterward, we dove into Kennedy Town's trendy 'MZ' hotspots,

like Winstons Coffee and the vibrant scenes beyond the basketball court fence,

where we truly soaked in the authentic Hong Kong vibe.

You absolutely must snap a photo in front of the cafe, posing with that iconic HONGKONG sign!

It's a surefire way to capture a 'life shot' (a picture of a lifetime),

I promise you'll cherish it!

From Kennedy Town, we made our way over to Tsim Sha Tsui,

where we explored Chungking Mansions and 1881 Heritage.

Chungking Mansions, famously featured in the film *Chungking Express*,

felt like stepping right into the movie as we navigated its bustling, narrow corridors.

(Just a heads-up, it's more of a quick peek than a long linger!)

1881 Heritage, though a shopping complex, offers much more than just retail therapy!

I highly recommend striking a pose against its stunning Victorian-era architecture instead of focusing solely on shopping.

I visited with no particular expectations, but it turned out to be an absolutely magnificent spot!

Next, we explored Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars,

which are within walking distance.

The tall tower standing majestically at the entrance of Victoria Harbour was so impressive and captivating!

During the day, the buildings on Hong Kong Island across the harbor were visible with stunning clarity, making for a beautiful sight.

We visited on a day with fantastic weather, so our photos turned out absolutely incredible!

At the Avenue of Stars, you absolutely must try placing your hand over the handprints of the famous actors and snapping a photo.

It was so much fun searching for the handprints of renowned actors like Leslie Cheung and Jackie Chan!

For our next stop, we headed to the historic location of Kowloon Walled City Park.

We enjoyed lunch at a Sichuan cuisine specialty restaurant near the park and then walked over.

Kowloon Walled City Park is built on the site where the former Kowloon Walled City, once the most densely populated place in the world, was demolished.

Completely different from its past, a beautiful park has been created there.

Throughout the park, you can find traces of the Kowloon Walled City and areas that recreate its former appearance, making it definitely worth a visit!

Especially if you're traveling with children, I highly recommend checking out the themed exhibition that faithfully recreates the old appearance of the Kowloon Walled City!

We wrapped up Day 3 by heading to Mong Kok Station and visiting the nearby Ladies' Market and the Neon Sign Street.

At the Ladies' Market, you can snag Hong Kong travel souvenirs like "I Love Hong Kong" t-shirts, bags, and magnets at great prices.

The Neon Sign Street near Mong Kok Station is a famous photo spot among the Gen Z crowd these days, and it's definitely worth a visit to experience that authentic Hong Kong vibe!

Day 4

On our final day, Day 4, the plan was a light shopping session before heading to the airport.

There was a Welcome supermarket near our accommodation, so we did some simple souvenir shopping.

For your Hong Kong shopping list, I recommend items like VLT drinks, Lipton Hong Kong-style milk tea, egg rolls, and Nin Jiom candy!

How Much Did Our 3-Night, 4-Day Hong Kong Trip Cost?

Today, I've shared our 3-night, 4-day Hong Kong itinerary, accommodation, and discount tips.

So, you're probably curious how much the travel expenses were for such a fulfilling 3-night, 4-day trip, right?

For a group of 4, excluding shopping expenses,

the total cost was around ~$3,723.

(Flights ~$1,168, Accommodation ~$693,

Tours & Tickets ~$642, Other Expenses ~$1,219)

This means each person spent approximately ~$927.

Since Hong Kong isn't exactly budget-friendly,

if you plan to do some shopping, I recommend setting aside a bit more

for your trip!
