Seriously, this place is an absolute must-visit for poke lovers. We can't recommend it enough!
Hawaii boasts a fantastic array of unique dishes. Beyond the famous Musubi and Acai Bowls, poke stands out as a true local specialty.
When in Hawaii, you simply have to try poke. While we did sample poke from other spots, trust us on this one: head straight to Ono Seafood. The flavor here is simply unparalleled.
Admittedly, the location isn't the most convenient. But honestly, it's worth the journey. Even after returning home, my husband and I kept talking about how much we craved their poke.

In Hawaii, you can easily find fresh tuna sashimi. So, when you're here, fresh tuna is definitely the way to go over octopus. We ordered the Shoyu Ahi and Spicy Ahi.
We opted for the poke bowl combo, which allows you to choose two flavors. If you didn't know, 'Ahi' is the Hawaiian word for tuna!

When ordering your combo:
1. Select your size (Regular or Large).
2. Choose your base: white rice or brown rice (which is brown rice).
The combo also includes one drink! Just pick your favorite from the cooler.

Just looking at these photos makes my mouth water! My husband and I were absolutely raving about it.
The next time we're in Hawaii, this will be our first stop. It's incredibly delicious!
While both flavors were excellent, the Spicy Ahi was a slight favorite. You really need to visit Ono Seafood... go once, go twice, go three times!

Our hotel was right across the street, and let me tell you, there's a line all day long. Seriously, all day. No exaggeration.
Since you can find delicious udon back home, we weren't keen on wasting precious vacation time standing in line. But we were feeling peckish in the evening, so what to do?
We ordered via Uber Eats!
Even with the delivery fee, we had no regrets. They brought it right to our hotel lobby, and we got to enjoy our meal much faster than if we'd waited in line!

You know that amazing feeling of having a warm bowl of soup when you're traveling abroad? It's a familiar taste, but oh-so-satisfying.
I ordered the udon with a large fried tofu, and my husband got the Niku Udon, which comes topped with savory beef.

We also ordered Musubi and tempura as sides.
If you're like us and don't want to wait in line, or if you'd rather stay in after a long day of exploring, definitely give Uber Eats a try.
Think of the delivery fee as a convenience charge, and you'll be happy, right?
