November Weather in Hawaii

November in Hawaii feels similar to a pleasant summer day in many parts of the US. Mornings and evenings are comfortably cool, while the afternoons are warm. It's technically the start of the wet season, which runs from November to March, so you might encounter frequent rain showers.

However, early November usually sees less rain, making it an ideal time to visit.

During my week-long trip last year (2025), it only rained for about a day. Even when it did, we were mostly relaxing by the beach, and a light shower actually felt quite refreshing!

Bringing a small, lightweight umbrella is a smart move!

Compared to late October, when I'm writing this, the overall temperatures in November typically drop by about 4-5 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s perfect weather for leisurely strolls and enjoying a refreshing rainbow shave ice!

While November marks the start of the wet season, leading to more affordable flights, don't expect non-stop rain. It's often more like the quick, passing showers you might experience in places like Southeast Asia. I actually preferred it to the scorching heat and crowded beaches of peak season!
