As a huge Harry Potter fan, I checked out the Visions of Magic exhibition in Singapore. Get my honest take on whether it's worth your time, especially after Universal Studios!

Hearing the news that a Harry Potter interactive exhibition had opened on Sentosa Island in Singapore,
as a huge Harry Potter fan, I was absolutely brimming with excitement when I booked my tickets!
After a thrilling time enjoying the attractions at Universal Studios Singapore (USS),
I headed straight to the Harry Potter interactive exhibition located on B1F of Resorts World Sentosa.
This place is an immersive, experience-based exhibition that blends media art with interactive technology.
Rather than walking through a grand, sprawling movie set,
it's designed as a series of well-curated themed rooms where you get to experience the wizarding world,
so the estimated viewing time is about 1 to 1.5 hours.
To be frank, if you're coming solely for Harry Potter as a standalone destination, the interactive elements might feel a little lacking!
However, it was an excellent way to cap off our USS day!
I'll walk you through the key viewing points and recommended highlights inside, one by one.

My Review of the Harry Potter Exhibition in Singapore

Since it's located on B1F of Resorts World Sentosa, which is part of the Universal Studios building on Sentosa Island,
it's super easy to spot and access! Just head straight in here.

Upon entry, everyone gets their very own magic wand.

And then, they immediately take your picture, of course! 😂
You know how these things go – everything comes at a price, right? 😉
My friend is a ChatGPT paid subscriber, and they even removed that watermark for me! lol
That's a neat little hack! 😉

While waiting, if you wave your magic wand, messages light up.
The kids were absolutely thrilled.
The reason for the waiting line is that
the exhibition generally proceeds by gathering groups of people and providing explanations as you go!

When you first enter, they explain the Knight Bus and other things,
and from that moment on, both kids and adults were excitedly waving their wands like crazy! 😂
I've forgotten most of Harry Potter, so I couldn't remember much! 😅

The most fun part for me was the Hall of Prophecy with the crystal balls.
If you point your wand at them, they light up.

You essentially move through the exhibition, discovering scenes from Harry Potter,
but it's quite dark, so photos don't always turn out well.

Ah, this scene was so memorable in the movie, but what was it again...? 😭😭😭

These are scenes from various movies, but it's almost embarrassing to call myself a huge fan because I can't remember them at all! 😂
(It's been so long... I've forgotten everything since having a baby...)

One thing that was a bit disappointing was that many of the interactive spots were too high for my child to reach with their wand.

Here's the Snitch I wanted!

The final duel!!!!!!

Honestly, I think I was looking forward to the gift shop even more... 😂

I got so incredibly excited!

I debated a hundred times whether to buy it or not, and in the end, I didn't... A bit regretful...

You can also get a taste of Butterbeer!
It was a butter-peanut flavored slushie, which I personally loved!

Resorts World Sentosa is a huge shopping mall, just like you can see in the pictures above,
making it a place many visit at least once or twice during their Singapore travels.
The Singapore Harry Potter exhibition is perfect to visit casually,
if you're already visiting Universal Studios or Resorts World Sentosa.
It's a great option for a quick stop.
While I don't think it's worth making a special trip for,
if you have an interest in Harry Potter, I highly recommend rereading the books or rewatching the movies before your visit!
