Recommended Haeundae Milmyeon spot worth the wait
The restaurant has seating on both the 1st and 2nd floors.
To avoid the long lines and the peak hours (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM),
I decided to visit around 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
Thankfully, the wait wasn't too long!
Even though the place was fully packed,
there were only 2 to 3 groups ahead of us,
so we got seated in just about 5 minutes.

Highly recommended Haeundae Milmyeon spot
Since Milmyeon is the ultimate summer staple, the place was packed to the brim...
So many people inside!
There is no private parking lot,
so you'll need to use paid parking at the Oncheon Annex or the car wash next door.
(Keep this in mind for your visit!)
(Note: Haeundae Milmyeon provides some parking fee support)

My secret hidden gem! Honest review
Here's a quick photo I snapped after finishing our bowls and the crowd cleared out!
But when I first walked in...
it was packed and incredibly bustling.
Just a heads-up, you'll need to use the stairs to get to the 2nd floor!

My secret hidden gem! Honest review
There is a self-serve broth bar... and oh my, you MUST try this! ♡
Sipping a cup of warm, savory broth before diving into your cold noodles
settles your stomach perfectly for the refreshing cold meal to come!

An honest review of a hidden local gem I wanted to keep all to myself
The prices reflect today's high cost of living, unfortunately... sigh ㅠㅠ
Standard portion per person
Starting from ~$6+ / ~$8+ (when ordering noodles for two + dumplings)
Quick tips on how to enjoy it best!
(Try not to cut the milmyeon noodles!)
Mustard and vinegar are on the table.

But still, I come here so often haha.
Here's a little secret only locals know:
They don't do takeout!
They refuse to let the noodles get soggy—that's how dedicated they are to quality!
(They only pack it if you live super close by)
The portion size, taste, and presentation are all absolutely perfect : )
After ordering, the food came out super fast!
Refreshing Mul-milmyeon (cold noodle soup) & Bibim-milmyeon (spicy mixed noodles)

Mul-milmyeon & Bibim-milmyeon & Dumplings
Mul-milmyeon (Cold Noodle Soup)
☆ Pro Tip: Scoop out about half of the red seasoning sauce first,
taste it, and then add more back in if you want! ☆

Mul-milmyeon & Bibim-milmyeon & Dumplings
First, you'll fall in love with the chewy noodles,
and then the broth—which isn't aggressively spicy, but has this perfect sweet and spicy kick—
will completely blow you away.
The broth is so good, you'll want to drink every last drop ♡
It's a bummer there's only one slice of meat, though... haha.
Personally, I took out about half of the seasoning sauce.
(Even with half removed, it still looks beautifully red!)
And then halfway through, drizzle a bit of mustard for an extra kick~

Mul-milmyeon & Bibim-milmyeon & Dumplings
Bibim-milmyeon (Spicy Mixed Noodles)
☆Note: A little bit of mustard is already mixed in☆

It's hard to make a truly amazing spicy bibim-milmyeon, but the noodle texture here does all the magic...
It's a bit spicier and more savory than the soup version.
How can they both be this good?! ugh ㅠㅠ

The Verdict & Recommended Menu
Honestly, everything is delicious...
But if you can only order one,
I highly recommend the Mul-milmyeon!
Also, the dumplings are phenomenal, so you absolutely must get them!
Whenever I crave milmyeon, this is my ultimate go-to spot!
It's on a completely different level from other places.
It's so rare for a shop to master both the soup and spicy dry styles!!
But here, everything is a hit!
If you want to taste authentic, fail-proof Busan milmyeon,
I highly, highly recommend this place! haha

When I first walked in, it was
jam-packed and incredibly bustling.
You'll need to use the stairs to get to the second floor!

Having a warm cup of broth before diving into the cold milmyeon
helps prep your stomach so you can enjoy the icy noodles comfortably!

The price is pretty typical given today's inflation... sigh T_T
Basic portion per person
At least ~$6+ / ~$8+ (for 2 people including dumplings)
How to eat it best:
(Enjoy the milmyeon without cutting the noodles!)
Mustard and vinegar are on the table.

Even so, I come here to eat all the time haha

The ice-cold Mul-milmyeon & Bibim-milmyeon

Mul-milmyeon
☆ Pro tip: Scoop out about half of the red seasoning paste first,
give it a taste, and then add more back if you want! ☆

First, the chewy texture of the noodles completely hooks you.
Then, the broth is just perfect—not overly spicy, but sweet and tangy with a nice kick.
It's seriously a match made in heaven.
The broth was so good, I practically drank it down to the bottom of the bowl! ♡
Though I was a bit sad there was only one slice of meat... haha.
I ate mine with about half the seasoning removed.
(Even without it, it's still quite red!)
And halfway through, try drizzling a bit of mustard~

Bibim-milmyeon
☆ Note: A little bit of mustard is already mixed in ☆

It's hard to make a truly amazing Bibim-milmyeon, but the texture of these noodles does all the heavy lifting...
It was a bit spicier and more savory-intense than the Mul-milmyeon.
How can they both be this delicious? T_T

Conclusion & Recommended Menu
Honestly, everything is delicious...
But if you have to choose just one...
Personally, I highly recommend the cold broth Milmyeon (Mul-milmyeon)!
And their dumplings are absolutely delicious, so they're a must-try!
Whenever I'm craving Milmyeon, this is hands down my go-to spot!
It's so different from other Milmyeon spots.
It's usually hard for a place to perfect both the soup and spicy versions, right?!
But here, everything is seriously amazing!
If you want to experience a foolproof, authentic taste of Busan's famous Milmyeon,
I highly, highly recommend this spot! Haha 😊

It is best to avoid the peak hours between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM when it gets crowded. Visiting between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM can significantly reduce your waiting time.
To prevent the noodles from getting soggy, takeout is generally not provided. However, exceptions can be made if your travel distance is very short.
It is recommended to scoop out about half of the red seasoning paste in the mul-milmyeon and taste the broth first. Afterwards, you can mix the seasoning back in to suit your taste and enjoy the noodles without cutting them.
The signature items, mul-milmyeon and bibim-milmyeon, are ~$6 each. Dumplings (mandu), which make a great side dish, are sold for ~$4.
