Hello, it's Jjinsaengsu here! : )
I recently visited Busan for a trip
and I'm excited to introduce you to the **Libero Hotel**!
I booked through Agoda,
and since it was starting to get into peak season,
other hotels nearby were more than ~$207 per night.
The **Libero Hotel was around ~$69 per night**,
which was significantly more affordable, so I decided to book it.

Libero Hotel Exterior

From KTX Busan Station, it took about
30-40 minutes by taxi to arrive at
the amazing value-for-money Libero Hotel in Haeundae ‼️
📍 Libero Hotel
21 Gunam-ro 29beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan
Just a 3-minute walk from Haeundae Station,
and a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Beach – the location is fantastic! 👍🏻
It's located in the same building as a shopping mall called Save Zone,
so it really stands out and is easy to spot.
If you're traveling by taxi like we did,
you won't need to give the driver a specific address.
Simply say,
'Please take me to Save Zone,'
'Please take me to Libero Hotel,'
and they'll know exactly where to go.
It made things incredibly convenient!

Once inside the Libero Hotel building,
we'll take the hotel elevator
up to the 9th floor,
where the Libero Hotel lobby is located! ~
It was a glass elevator,
and it's been a while since I've ridden one,
so it was a pleasant surprise.
However, you couldn't actually see outside it ;;
Libero Hotel Check-in (9F)

This is what the Libero Hotel lobby on the 9th floor looks like.
Since it's an older hotel,
you could definitely feel the passage of time,
but it was well-maintained and quite clean.
The staff were also appropriately friendly.

Two bottles of water, instant coffee, and green tea are complimentary,
while toothbrushes and razors are available for purchase.
It seems this is the trend for accommodations these days.
They're removing complimentary amenities in the name of environmental protection....!!
Honestly, as a guest, it's quite inconvenient.
If we're truly committed to environmental protection,
maybe we should just stay home... haha.
Just my personal opinion ;)

For check-in, I filled out a card,
and they only asked for my **name, phone number, and vehicle number.**

In front of the antique-style large mirror,
I just had to snap a quick mirror selfie! ~v
We were assigned a room on the 11th floor.
Let's take the elevator again
and head up to the 11th floor!

The hotel seems quite large,
and I noticed it had so many rooms.
And what I found quite interesting was that
it wasn't a card key, but a real, old-fashioned physical key!
It had been so long since I'd seen a traditional key like that,
I thought it was fascinating.
When you insert and turn the key,
and turn the doorknob simultaneously,
the door opens right up!
Inside the Libero Hotel Twin Room

Ta-da!
This is the Libero Hotel Twin Room we booked.
The room was a little dark,
but perhaps thanks to the yellow lighting, the atmosphere was quite nice ✨

As it's a twin room, there were two single beds
neatly arranged.
I also liked that the mattresses were firm and didn't sag.

To air out the room for a bit,
I opened the window,
and while there wasn't any special view,
the building in front wasn't right up against ours,
so it was nice to leave the window open.

Libero Hotel Minibar

As we were informed at check-in,
Libero Hotel
provides 2 bottles of water, instant coffee, and green tea for free daily,
while other items like snacks, beer, and sodas
are available for purchase.

When using the minibar,
please fill out the minibar checklist
and submit it at checkout for payment.
For your reference, Samdasoo water bottles without labels at room temperature are complimentary.
However, Samdasoo water bottles with labels in the refrigerator are chargeable!
Other Facilities at Libero Hotel

Among the other interior facilities at Libero Hotel were
a large wardrobe.

There was also a table and chairs.
These would be useful when you order delivery or takeout.
Libero Hotel Bathroom

Finally, I'll show you the Libero Hotel bathroom.
To be honest, the bathroom was where the hotel's age was most noticeable.
However, it was well-maintained,
so I didn't feel any discomfort using it at all.
In fact, it even had a bit of an endearing charm to it, haha.

As for amenities, all the basics were readily available.
Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion
They even had a bath sponge, shower cap, comb, cotton swabs, and cotton pads.
Plus, there was face & hand wash at the sink,
and I distinctly remember its lovely scent! 🫧
Oh, and there was also a bathtub...
I used it right after checking in, so I didn't get a chance to snap a photo.
You can think of it as a pretty standard bathtub,
nothing out of the ordinary.
Final Thoughts
Busan has so many hotels,
and with so many people visiting Busan,
accommodation prices can be seriously steep.
If you're like us and don't want to break the bank on lodging,
and you're looking for a great value stay,
definitely consider Libero Hotel‼️
I was worried it might be rundown because it's an older hotel,
and while it's true that it's an older establishment,
it's incredibly well-maintained and clean.
For the price,
I was genuinely thrilled with my stay!
Stay at the value-packed Libero Hotel
and use the money you save to treat yourself to some delicious local eats! 🙌🏻
