Hey guys! :)
I'm Ddu-it Every,
your go-to travel influencer on a quest for the ultimate flavors.
When you travel to Busan, soaking in the ocean breeze is amazing,
but embarking on a food tour is an absolute must!
During this Busan trip,
I visited "Dondok," a restaurant located in Mipo, Haeundae.
I went with high expectations because the Haeundae ocean views looked absolutely stunning,
and it turned out to be a fantastic Haeundae hotspot
that completely won me over with both its mouthwatering flavor and breezily scenic ocean-view vibe.

Busan Haeundae Dondok
Haeundae Restaurant, Busan Travel

Dondok is a pork specialty restaurant located in Mipo, Haeundae,
right near the Haeundae Blue Line Park Mipo Station.

From the window seats,
you can enjoy your meal while gazing out
at the wide-open, scenic Haeundae beach view.

I visited during the daytime,
and thankfully, I got a table right away without any wait.
Even under the bright daylight, the refreshing panoramic view
was absolutely stunning.

They say it’s also a perfect Busan date spot,
as you can catch the beautiful sunset
or enjoy the sparkling night view during dinnertime.

Haeundae Dondok: Menu & Food Review
Busan Travel, Busan Eats, Haeundae Restaurants

The absolute best part about Haeundae Dondok
was definitely the fresh, high-quality pork.
Because the meat was so fresh, it was incredibly juicy
and packed with a rich, savory flavor that got better with every bite.

Both the fresh pork belly (Ogyeopsal) and fresh pork neck (Moksal) were outstanding,
and you could really taste the care put into
every single side dish served with them.

The sides were light, clean, and perfectly seasoned,
making them the ultimate pairing for the rich pork.

And personally, the most memorable dish
of the night was the soybean paste stew (Doenjang-jjigae).

At Dondok, you can customize your stew by choosing
between shepherd's purse (Naengi) and Korean mint (Bang-a).
I went with the shepherd's purse,
but they told me that adding Korean mint to Doenjang-jjigae
is a classic, beloved local style here in Busan!

The earthy richness of the soybean paste
blended with the fragrant herbs for a unique twist,
and it cut through the richness of the pork perfectly.

Best of all, having that gorgeous view
right outside the window throughout our meal
made the whole Busan trip experience feel so dreamlike.

If you're hunting for a Busan restaurant with a view,
or looking for the ultimate pork K-BBQ spot in Haeundae,
this is definitely one place I'd highly recommend!
