I recently visited the popular Club D Oasis spa and jjimjilbang in Haeundae, Busan. Today, I'm sharing my 100% honest review of the food I personally bought and ate at their internal food court restaurant.

The restaurant is located inside the jjimjilbang, all the way at the back, opposite the entrance. It looks quite spacious! I visited Club D Oasis around 10 AM on a weekday Wednesday, hoping to avoid crowds, and went to the restaurant around 1 PM. Thankfully, since it was a weekday, it wasn't overly packed (though there were still a good number of people).

There's a ramen corner, and you order food at the kiosk on the right. I ordered the Yukjeon Mul-milmyeon and Roe Rice Balls!

Here's a look at the restaurant's price list! It's definitely on the pricier side. You wouldn't expect top-quality food, but I guess this is Haeundae Club D Oasis after all – the food prices seem to be trying to catch up with the admission fees! Prices range from a minimum of ~$5 to a maximum of ~$11, so you can expect to pay around ~$8 per person on average.

When it wasn't too crowded, it took about 5-10 minutes for our order to come out. Note: Around 1:30 PM, more people started coming in. So, plan your visit wisely to avoid waiting in line!

The Yukjeon Mul-milmyeon, which I had high hopes for, looked quite appetizing with its generous portion of broth. I chose this dish because I wanted something refreshing and cool. I did look up reviews beforehand, and many said it was "bland" or "tasteless." But, you know how everyone's taste is different, right? So, I decided to try it anyway! (I'm a bit of a contrarian; unless something is explicitly called "bad," I get curious, plus I really wanted something cold!)

Oh my, this was honestly disappointing. I expected a certain level of deliciousness from Club D Oasis, but it strongly felt like a store-bought meal kit that was just heated up. It wasn't even better than a typical meal kit! The noodles were a bit too chewy, and the overall flavor was hard to pinpoint. It was bland and flat, and the broth wasn't refreshing enough to clear your palate. There was a mix of spicy and sweet from the settled chili powder, plus the distinct vinegary kick of milmyeon, leaving a somewhat ambiguous aftertaste. The soaked yukjeon (beef pancake) was neither good nor bad, but honestly, it's hard to make yukjeon taste bad! In conclusion, it's definitely not worth the price! Just grab some ramen instead.☺️ Most other visitors' reviews seem to echo my sentiments!

Doesn't it look absolutely delicious?! On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the Roe Rice Balls, which I ordered without much expectation. First, the portion was generous, and the popping roe was piled on abundantly, providing a fantastic texture with every bite. The overall sweet and savory seasoning base means kids would love it too. This would have been the perfect dish if paired with the ramen available at the restaurant. (Such a missed opportunity!🥲 It really needed that ramen broth combo.)
