3. Room Overview

The H Avenue Hotel Beach Branch in Gwangalli
offers a fantastic variety of room types,
making it a great choice for all kinds of travelers.
They have everything from the basic Standard City View (for 2 people)
to Ocean View rooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests.
I debated heavily whether to splurge on the ocean view,
but since my 2026 itinerary was so packed and I knew I wouldn't be in the room much,
I booked the basic Standard City Room.
The basic room, the Standard City Room,
is perfect for two people and was exactly what we needed for a quick trip.

My first impression walking in: Spotless!
It seems they recently remodeled because the wallpaper, floors,
and bathroom tiles all looked brand new and pristine.
There was even a laundry certification card placed on the bedding,
which gave me major peace of mind.
The hotel bedding was crisp and plush!
I initially worried the pillows looked too high,
but they were surprisingly perfect and I slept like a baby.
Essential Amenities: An electric kettle, Smart TV, mini-fridge, and an air purifier—everything you need for a comfortable trip was perfectly prepared.
They also provided slippers, bottled water, and a vanity mirror,
making it feel as cozy as my own bedroom.
The bathroom featured a striking emerald green tile design.
It was a bit of a bummer that there wasn't a separate shower booth,
but the mirrors were spotless without a single water stain.
4. Gwangalli Ocean View Lounge

And the biggest, most unexpected perk
of the H Avenue Gwangalli Beach Branch
is their Ocean View Lounge!
From the lounge, you get a panoramic view of Gwangalli Beach,
and it is a prime vantage point for watching the drone show and fireworks.
If I had known it was this good, I wouldn't have waited
down at the crowded Millak Waterside Park for the drone show... haha.
Before heading to our room, we grabbed some snacks and beers
from the convenience store downstairs to enjoy in the lounge—it was perfect.
They even thoughtfully provided wet wipes for an easy cleanup!
5. Things to Know Before Booking

💡 There are actually two H Avenue Hotels in Gwangalli
right next to each other, so make sure to check the address for the "Beach Branch".
I accidentally tried to check in at the other H Avenue Gwangalli
and got a mini heart attack when they said I didn't have a reservation... haha.
Also,
a unique quirk about the H Avenue Gwangalli Beach Branch
is that the hotel doesn't occupy the entire building!
It only takes up three floors of the commercial complex.
While it might not be a 5-star luxury resort,
if you are looking for a
budget-friendly ocean view hotel in Busan,
you really can't beat the H Avenue Gwangalli Beach Branch :)
💡 Tip:
If you will be out exploring all day, go for the Standard room.
If you want to soak in the scenery, definitely upgrade to the Ocean View!
For my next trip, I have already booked an Ocean View room
so I can leisurely stare at the sea morning and night! haha.
Because the hotel only spans three floors,
there aren't a massive number of rooms.
With the busy 2026 travel season approaching,
many dates for late fall and winter are already fully booked!
If you are hunting for a place to stay near Gwangalli Beach,
check their real-time availability and lock in your room right now! haha.
