Recommended Haeundae Getaway Spot in Busan

Grand Josun Busan is located right in front of Haeundae Beach,
offering incredible ocean views,
and it's just a 9-minute walk from Haeundae Station,
making its accessibility top-notch.
On top of that, it's super close to the main Gunam-ro street,
which is lined with amazing local restaurants, Haeundae Traditional Market, cute souvenir shops, and more.
This convenient location made our Haeundae trip
absolutely perfect and highly satisfying.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Haeundae,
you won't find a better location than this.
It's hands down the best spot in the area!

Above all, as expected from a 5-star hotel,
it features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center,
an in-hotel Starbucks, a convenience store, and more.
Of course, the customer service was outstanding,
and they took such great care of us during our stay.
It really made us appreciate the 5-star experience.
Now, for my wonderful readers,
let me share the best tips to book Grand Josun Busan
at the most affordable rates!
Where is the best place to book for the best value?

Since prices for Grand Josun Busan shoot up during the peak summer season,
it's highly recommended to
book through the cheapest platform to save on your travel budget.
After comparing various booking platforms,
❗️I found that Agoda currently offers the lowest rates.
Surprisingly, even for a domestic hotel in Korea,
Agoda turned out to be cheaper than local options.
Take a look at the comparison table below
and secure your room at the best price!
Based on August Weekdays | Agoda | Trip.com | Yeogi Eottae |
Deluxe City Twin | ~$343 | ~$380 | ~$435 |
|
Now, let me share my full review
of staying at Grand Josun Busan.
Checking In at Grand Josun Busan

As soon as we arrived at Grand Josun Busan,
the staff immediately helped us with our luggage
and guided us straight to the check-in counter.
We checked in on a Saturday (weekend),
but it was surprisingly uncrowded, which was great.
Check-in time: 3:00 PM
Check-out time: 11:00 AM
(Just a quick note: you'll need to have a credit card ready
for the standard hotel deposit.)

Thanks to the super-quick check-in,
we headed up to our room with hearts full of excitement!
They handed us two card keys.

Here is a quick look at the floor guide for Grand Josun Busan.
It goes from the 1st to the 16th floor, plus the parking garage, as shown below.
1F - Aria Buffet, Josun Deli, Lobby, etc.
4F - Starbucks, E-mart 24
6F - Sauna, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool
7F - Spa
8F~16F - Guest Rooms, etc.
Deluxe City View Twin Review

The room we booked this time was the Deluxe City View Twin,
and we were assigned Room 1635 on the very top floor!

Walking into the room, you'll find a full-length mirror and
a closet on your left, and the bathroom door on your right.
Inside the closet, cozy slippers, bathrobes, and hangers
were all neatly prepared for us.

The Deluxe City View Twin room
features one single bed and one double bed,
comfortably accommodating up to three guests.

It's a city view, but with two large floor-to-ceiling windows, one side looks out
towards Haeundae Station, and the other side gives you a glimpse
of Haeundae Beach and a sliver of the Gwangan Bridge.
For a "city view," the scenery was absolutely incredible!

By the way, if you are thinking about booking an ocean view room,
you might want to check out the photo above from our last stay
to get a feel for what the view is like!

The room is also equipped with a flat-screen TV,
so we spent our evening sipping on cold beers
while catching up on our favorite dramas!
Watching shows in such a cozy, pristine hotel room
was pure bliss.

One of the best perks of staying at Grand Josun Busan
is that your first round of the minibar is completely free.

Sparkling water, Pringles, bottled water, coffee capsules,
tea bags, glasses, wine glasses, and mugs are all
provided, so feel free to help yourself during your stay!

The bathroom also had a wonderfully luxurious feel.
The bathtub, sink, and toilet were nicely partitioned for privacy.

When we checked in, they actually asked if we preferred
a room with just a shower booth or one with a bathtub.
We opted for the room with a bathtub so we could enjoy a relaxing soak!
(By the way, they mentioned that the bathrooms
with only shower booths are a bit more spacious.)
Just so you know, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all provided.

For amenities, you’ll find towels, a hair dryer,
a comb, and a shower cap ready for you.
Keep in mind that toothbrushes, toothpaste, and cleansing foam
aren't provided, so you'll want to pack your own!
Next up, let's look at the absolute highlight of any staycation—
the amenities (the pool and the fitness center).
Grand Josun Busan Amenities
The Pool (Heavenly Pool)

First up is the Heavenly Pool, which I was most excited about!
The pool at Grand Josun Busan has both indoor and outdoor
areas for you to enjoy.

The outdoor pool is divided into a small kids' pool
and a gorgeous infinity pool.
It was a bit smaller than I expected, so when it gets crowded,
it's not really the best spot for swimming laps.
Instead, it’s the perfect backdrop for snapping incredible photos
with views of Haeundae Beach, so make sure to capture your shot of a lifetime!

The beach view from the infinity pool
was absolutely breathtaking.
We got lucky with gorgeous weather, making the sky
and ocean look stunningly blue!
Just staring out at the horizon was incredibly healing,
so you definitely don't want to miss out on the pool.

But don't worry if you can't get your swim on
in the infinity pool.
The indoor pool has designated lanes where
you can swim to your heart's content.
Quick tip: you’ll need a swim cap to use the middle lane
of the three indoor lanes, so be sure to pack one
if you plan to do some serious swimming!

At the far end of the indoor pool,
there’s a warm jacuzzi kept around 30°C.
The kids there seemed to love the fun, bubbling water!

With cozy sunbeds and chairs lined up on both sides of the pool,
lounging here while soaking in the gorgeous beach view
is absolute bliss.
The Fitness Center

Finally, let me show you the Grand Josun
Fitness Center.
Even the gym overlooks the beautiful Haeundae beach,
making your workout feel incredibly scenic and inspiring!

You can freely use the treadmills, stationary bikes,
and various weight-training equipment.
The gym facility is spacious, super clean, and well-maintained,
making it the perfect spot for a refreshing workout at any time of day!

If you didn't bring any workout gear, don't worry—
you can easily rent activewear here, which is so convenient.
Just a quick heads-up: if you plan on using the treadmills,
athletic shoes are required, so make sure to pack your own sneakers!
Grand Josun Busan was a perfect choice!

Today, I shared my honest stay review of the Grand Josun Busan Hotel,
a property I highly recommend for your Haeundae getaway.
If you are planning a trip to Haeundae,
there is truly no better 5-star hotel option than this.
Its unmatched proximity to local restaurants, attractions, and the beach
is a massive benefit, ensuring you have
an incredibly convenient and satisfying stay.
Plus, if you refer to the comparison table I shared earlier
and book your stay at the absolute best rate,
you'll be able to save a neat chunk of your travel budget!
I hope you have an amazing and happy summer vacation!
