Thinking of a beach getaway in Busan with your little one? Here is why the 5-star Grand Josun Busan offers the ultimate family-friendly luxury experience.

Grand Josun Busan: Deluxe Ocean View
A Luxury Family Staycation at Haeundae Beach
Traveling with a baby is no walk in the park.
Especially when they are under a year old, picking the right hotel requires a lot of careful research.
For our very first family trip to Busan, we chose the Grand Josun Busan.
Itβs a premier 5-star hotel located right on Haeundae Beach, offering breathtaking ocean views and an incredible rental service for baby gear.
If you're wondering why the Grand Josun Busan is highly recommended for a relaxing Haeundae staycation, let me share our detailed 2026 experience! ππ»
β Pros & Cons Summary β β ππ» Pros β β Extensive baby equipment rental (formula kettle, baby bath, bottle sterilizer, etc.) β Unbeatable location: just a 1-minute walk to Haeundae Beach β Impeccable 5-star Busan hotel service β Aria breakfast buffet is delicious and highly baby-friendly β ππ» Cons β β Indoor pool/gym has scheduled monthly closures (always double-check!) β Parking space can feel a bit tight |

β
Right in front of Haeundae Beach!
The Grand Josun Busan is incredibly convenient.
It takes just a 1-minute walk to the ocean,
and a 3-minute walk to the bustling downtown area.
β
Underground parking is available!
(While some guests mention the spaces are a bit narrow,
we had zero issues parking during
the busy early summer season.)
β
We actually debated between this property and
the famous Paradise Hotel Busan right next door.
Ultimately, we chose Grand Josun because
the modern, refreshed vibe appealed to us more (personal preference!),
and their baby item rental service
was exactly what we needed for a stress-free stay.
β
For added convenience, there's a Starbucks on the 2nd floor,
and an Emart24 convenience store on the 4th floor.

2. Hotel Basics
β
Accommodation: Grand Josun Busan
Room Type: Deluxe Ocean View
β
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
β
If your room is cleaned early,
they are quite flexible and will allow an early check-in!
β
The lobby boasts a spacious and luxurious atmosphere,
and the check-in process was fast, smooth, and welcoming.
β

β
β
3. Room Condition: Deluxe Ocean View
β
We stayed in the
Deluxe Ocean View room.
While it's not a massive suite,
it was perfectly sized and efficiently laid out
for a 3-day, 2-night stay with our baby.
β

β
More than anything, the panoramic view of Haeundae Beach
right outside our window instantly melted away all our travel fatigue.
β

β
The room featured one King-sized bed,
which was spacious enough for two adults and a baby to sleep comfortably.
The cozy sofa and small dining table
were also super handy for enjoying late-night delivery food.
β

β
β
Thanks to recent renovations,
the entire interior felt incredibly modern and pristine.
β

β
The bathroom was also fantastic.
(I forgot to take photos, but trust me,
itβs proper 5-star quality!)
Having a separate bathtub and shower booth was very convenient,
and the bath amenities smelled amazing.
Water pressure and drainage were flawless.
We even placed the rented baby bath inside the main tub,
and there was still plenty of room to spare.
β

β
Since we were doing a staycation,
and knew we wouldn't be able to explore Busan extensively with an infant,
I intentionally booked the Ocean View room just to soak in the scenery.
It was the best decision ever.
β

β
Looking out to the left,
we could see both the Paradise Hotel and the towering LCT building.
β
Even if it felt like we were just parenting in a different location,
the change of scenery from our everyday home was monumental.
I usually prefer mountain or forest views,
but gazing at the wide-open Haeundae ocean
completely cured my parenting cabin fever!
β

β
The restaurant is incredibly well-equipped for families,
offering high chairs, baby utensils, and kid-friendly plates.
Our little one was still on pureed baby food at the time,
so they couldn't eat much from the buffet,
but my partner and I were in food heaven.
A massive shoutout to the seafood saladβ
the scallops were huge, plump, and absolutely delicious!
We definitely went back for seconds. Haha.
β

β
I pre-requested a bottle sterilizer, formula kettle, and baby bath tub.
After arriving, we requested a baby crib,
bed guard, and high chair,
and they brought them right up.

β
This hotel is undeniably fantastic for couples,
but I specifically recommend it to families
craving a true luxury staycation
with an infant.
β
Between the mesmerizing Haeundae ocean views,
the comprehensive baby gear rental service, and genuinely warm staff,
our 3-day getaway was incredibly comfortable
and rejuvenating! :))
