Goseong's On The Button: Ocean View & Pet-Friendly Cafe

Tucked away in a relatively serene area, On The Button in Goseong captivated me with its stunning **ocean views visible through expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows**.

No matter where I sat, the sea was perfectly framed, making it impossible not to snap countless photos.

What’s more, this charming spot is **pet-friendly**, making it an ideal bakery cafe recommendation for anyone traveling with their furry companions.

I sought out On The Button specifically for its renowned ocean views, and it certainly delivered.

The cafe boasts **floor-to-ceiling windows on both the front and back of the building**. Even before stepping inside, you can glimpse the stunning sea views through the glass.

Often, the downside of ocean view cafes is dirty windows marred by dust or water stains. However, On The Button offered a **pristine sea view from inside**, which was a huge plus.

True to its reputation as a famous Goseong ocean view cafe, it also features a beautifully designed **photo spot**, crafted to feel like you're strolling on white pebbles. Even my husband, who rarely takes photos, captured some truly lovely shots here, which made me incredibly happy! : )

On The Button

On The Button welcomes pets. When I visited on a Saturday, the cafe was nearly full, and about **30% of the patrons were accompanied by their pets**.

The seating areas are quite spacious, allowing ample room for strollers, and the **smooth flooring** seemed perfect for pets to wander around comfortably.

While it might be too warm for it right now in July 2026, there's also a rooftop area. This would be a fantastic spot for those with **larger dogs** to relax without any hassle.

Bakery & Drink Review

If you're looking for a cozy bakery cafe that offers light bites rather than a huge, bustling establishment, On The Button in Goseong is a great choice.

Unfortunately, I arrived a bit too late to snap photos of a fully stocked display. The cafe is run by a **couple trained at Le Cordon Bleu**, and it seems word has spread, as many of their delicious pastries had already sold out!

As expected for a popular tourist spot, prices are a little higher than a typical cafe. However, considering its **prime location right by the ocean**, it's perfectly reasonable. They offer coffee, but also **juices and ice cream**, so you'll see quite a few families with kids enjoying their visit.

We ordered a **Latte Verde, an Americano, and an Apple Turnover!** I personally **highly recommend the Apple Turnover**. It's not a wildly unique flavor, but the subtle apple aroma kept me coming back for more.

The **Latte Verde** is a latte topped with pistachio cream. I wouldn't recommend it if you prefer less heavy drinks, but **if you love a sweet treat like I do**, you'll definitely enjoy it! : )

On The Button Parking

The main parking lot attached to On The Button felt like an open field and could probably fit about 7-8 cars. I was initially worried about parking, but then I discovered something great:

It turns out there are a **total of three parking areas**! If you navigate to On The Button and find the main lot full, try heading to **Bellmare Pension** for additional parking.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our date at On The Button, a lovely Goseong cafe with an incredible ocean view.

With its **guaranteed ocean vistas**, pet-friendly policy, and delightful bakery treats, it's a fantastic spot for **everyone – families, couples, and pet owners alike** – to visit! : )
