It feels like stepping into Bali or Barcelona in Korea... a truly mystical place 💦🩵
(Though, unlike Seoul, the parties here wrap up a bit earlier, reminding you that, oh right, this is Gangwon Province!)
Located in Goseong, Gangwon Province,
Glasshaus transforms from a cafe by day to an open bar by the sea with pulsating music in the evening (especially on weekends; weekdays might be quieter).
My first visit absolutely blew me away! You can grab drinks from the open space on the left.
Grab a beer and dance the night away! The crowd at Goseong Glasshaus is incredibly hip.
I thought I had a decent tan, but everyone here looks professionally sun-kissed. I felt suddenly pale in Goseong!
As it gets darker, the music gets better, the crowd grows, and Goseong Glasshaus becomes even more vibrant.
The dance floor is surprisingly spacious, which is a huge plus!
From the outside, Goseong Glasshaus looks like a cool container house, with an open space in the middle.
You can enter from the left side, or through the main building (the cafe).
Goseong Glasshaus used to close around 9 or 10 PM (I once arrived just as they were closing – so sad!)
But now, as Gangwon Province's top hotspot, they've extended their weekend hours until 11 PM!
⤵️ Since Goseong Glasshaus is in Gangwon Province, you'll want to head back to your accommodation once it closes.
Here’s a great option just a 10-minute drive from Glasshaus ⤵️⤵️
Honestly, snorkeling in Goseong during the day is absolutely fantastic!
The Gangwon Province coast next to it is incredibly clear, and there are so many fish right from the shore.
However, the water can get surprisingly deep quite suddenly, and there are sections with strong currents, so please, always be very careful when swimming.
The sea is deeper than you might expect 🐟
Goseong and Sokcho are close, so if you can't find accommodation in Goseong, it's perfectly fine to stay in Sokcho and still enjoy Goseong's attractions ⤵️
Oh, and mark your calendars! There's a Fingerprint party happening here on the upcoming weekend of August 22-23, 2026. It's going to be even better than RDC, so definitely check it out!
2. Pescaderia
📍 Pescaderia 1F, 51 Gyeongdongsijang-ro 10-gil, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul
Pescaderia in Gyeongdong Market, Cheongnyangni, Dongdaemun
I stumbled upon this place in Seoul, near Cheongnyangni's Gyeongdong Market, drawn in by the music. It's a Mexican restaurant!
Pescaderia
📍Address, Location: 1F, 51 Gyeongdongsijang-ro 10-gil, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul
📍Seating: Bar seating / Terrace / Single seats / Group seating available
📍Menu: Fish tacos, Tuna tostadas, Mezcal, etc.
(They had plenty of Mexican dishes that pair perfectly with Mexican spirits like Mezcal.)
Feeling hungry and hearing the music, I realized it was a place I'd saved to visit!

Thinking, "Oh, those fish tacos look amazing!" I stepped into Pescaderia. But sadly, that day was an event, and I arrived too late – last order had already passed! So, I missed out on those delicious-looking fish tacos and other dishes. So sad!

But it was so incredibly hip, I was truly impressed, so I decided to include it alongside Goseong Glasshaus.
In the middle of Cheongnyangni's traditional market, where everything else is raw and authentic market life, suddenly, next to a seafood stall, appears the super hip Pescaderia sign.
🐟
Suddenly, I felt like I was on a Mexican beach (never been, but still!).

It was late, with music pumping inside, looking super hip, but I hesitated, wondering if I could even go in if last order was over.
