I paid a visit to Ginza Lion!
It's super easy to get to,
and the menu has so much variety.
Established back in 1899,
it's a historic beer hall restaurant
with plenty of branches across
Tokyo Ginza, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and more.
It's the perfect place to grab a casual beer,
and their Napolitan pasta is
absolutely amazing!

Fried horse mackerel,
fried burdock root,
fried oysters,
fish and chips,
and even stir-fried konjac!

The side dishes, bar bites,
and salads are incredibly diverse!

They highly recommend the Kuroge Wagyu,
which is premium Japanese Black Beef!
And also...
The drink lineup is amazing:
Sapporo Black Label Beer
Yebisu Premium Black Beer
Edelpils (Czech-style beer)
Whiskey
Highballs
Red & White Wine
Sweet Potato Shochu,
and Sake—such a massive selection!
Food
Steak Garlic Pilaf: 2,480 yen (~$15)
Napolitan Pasta: 1,380 yen (~$8)
Kuroge Wagyu Rump Steak: 2,980 yen (~$18)
Here's what we ordered!

As for the Garlic Pilaf Steak,
the rice wasn't very firm and felt a bit mushy like porridge,
so it really wasn't my thing.
The steak sauce was also a bit on the salty side,
so I wouldn't really recommend it...

But the Black Wagyu Rump Steak
is absolutely insane!
It is incredibly tender,
not salty at all,
and the sauce and veggies are just perfect!
For a steak in the ~$19 range,
it was amazingly delicious
and I enjoyed every single bite.

The Napolitan pasta is
a ketchup-based pasta,
so it can be hit or miss for some.
Since I usually don't like ketchup,
I didn't expect much when I tried it,
but it was so unbelievably delicious
that it vanished in an instant!
It's tossed with sausage and onions,
packed with a rich buttery flavor,
and though the noodles are quite thick,
they were cooked perfectly.
I already want to go back for more!
Whether you go with your parents,
your friends, or even on your own,
it's a great restaurant
to enjoy a casual glass of beer.
