1. Understanding the Overall Process for Gardens by the Bay (So many options, it can be confusing!)

When I travel, I don't usually go out of my way
to search for a ton of travel information.
But for Gardens by the Bay?
I looked through blog posts and Reels reviews
to narrow down my choices as much as possible.
Let's explore the options you have.
Should you do everything, or skip some parts? What if you're traveling with kids?
What if it's a couple's trip? A family trip?
The best approach might vary depending on your group.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Cloud Forest (=Jurassic World) tickets for standalone entry can ONLY be booked on-site. |
★ Cloud Forest + Flower Dome (Recommended for Couples) ★ · Klook ~$35 · KKday ~$35 · Trip.com ~$26 |
★ Cloud Forest + Flower Dome + Supertree Observatory (For those spending a full day) · Klook ~$46 · KKday ~$46 · Trip.com ~$46 |
The walk from the entrance to Jurassic World is quite long. If you purchase a round-trip shuttle ticket for 3 SGD per adult on-site, you can get around comfortably, so I highly recommend it. |

'Cloud Forest = Jurassic World' is the most popular attraction.
I wholeheartedly recommend it;
it's a must-visit that will satisfy everyone – kids, adults, parents, and the whole family!
However, tickets just for this area
can only be purchased on-site.
While the official website does sell standalone tickets,
those are exclusively for Singapore residents.
You can purchase a bundle with the Flower Dome,
but while the Flower Dome is pretty, there's nothing particularly special about it.
So, what about the Floral Dome?
I haven't been there myself, so I'm not sure,
but if it's similar to the Flower Dome, then is it really necessary? I'd question it.
If you're going with kids, they might like it,
but in my opinion, spending more time in Jurassic World
is what kids would enjoy more.
What about the Supertree Observatory?
You have to go up by 4 PM to see it,
but it's better to spend more time exploring Jurassic World during that time.
For a viewpoint, I think it's better to just look at the Supertrees
from the Marina Bay Sands rooftop.
Anyway, you'll be going to see the Supertree Show at night,
so going to the observatory during the day and then coming back out
Going to Jurassic World and then back to the Supertree Show in the evening is an inefficient itinerary!
Shall we take a look at the photos and videos from Gardens by the Bay in the review below?

2. Flower Dome & Jurassic World

It's safe to say that a trip to Singapore isn't complete without visiting
Gardens by the Bay!
Since tickets for the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest
are sold as a bundle, I highly recommend purchasing this combined ticket.
I checked out many reviews beforehand, and the consensus was to quickly browse the Flower Dome first,
then head to the Cloud Forest.
And let me tell you, they were absolutely right!
While the Flower Dome is undeniably beautiful,
there are many similar lovely exhibitions and flower gardens in Korea (or your home country!).
So, move through it quickly, focusing your photo-taking on just a few key spots,

I recommend heading straight to the Cloud Forest quickly,
and here's why!
At Cloud Forest = Jurassic World, you'll periodically get the chance to take photos with baby dinosaur models,
and they even put on dinosaur magic shows!
(These little gems are hidden all over the place!)
I took my sweet time exploring every nook and cranny,
and let me tell you, it was absolutely wild and so much fun!
There are winding hidden rooms everywhere,
and suddenly, baby dinosaurs just appear out of nowhere!
If you just rush through it,
you'll totally miss out on all this amazing fun!
3. Supertree Show Time: Top Tips (Free Admission)

After exploring Cloud Forest,
I grabbed dinner at Shake Shack.
While there are a few other small restaurants right in front, they get really crowded. You definitely won't have time to go back and forth to Marina Bay or anything like that.
I highly recommend Shake Shack, or you could pack a bento box or similar meal,
but given the hot weather, I'm not sure how well that would work out?
When you exit the Cloud Forest and head left, you'll see signs pointing you towards the Supertree Grove.

For the Gardens by the Bay Supertree show,
I highly recommend aiming for the 7:30 PM slot.
Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes to an hour early to snag a good spot.
Bring a light mat or even a sarong to sit on.
Even a rain jacket can double as a quick ground cover!
Singapore's humidity and heat can make standing around for a long time
quite challenging.
The best way to comfortably enjoy the Supertree show is to simply
sit or even lie down on the ground.
Don't overthink or apologize for taking up a spacious spot –
you'll thank yourself later!
Trust me, right before the show begins, your chosen spot
will be surrounded by fellow spectators.
While arriving early might let you grab a seat, coming *too* early means a lot of waiting around. That's why I strongly suggest bringing a mat!

The best part? The Gardens by the Bay Supertree show in Singapore is absolutely free to enjoy!
While you *can* purchase a separate ticket to ascend to the observatory atop those Supertrees, keep in mind it's only accessible until 4 PM, which can be tricky to fit into your schedule.
My strong recommendation? Come in the late afternoon, take your time, and simply soak in the Supertree show from below!
Imagine the entire Supertree grove sparkling and dancing with light, perfectly synchronized to music!
It’s an absolutely breathtaking spectacle when viewed from below.
Here's a winning plan: spend your day exploring Gardens by the Bay's Cloud Forest (often called 'Jurassic World') and Flower Dome, then catch the Supertree show in the evening, and finally, take a leisurely stroll over to Marina Bay Sands. It’s a perfectly curated path!
To sum it up, for an unforgettable day in Singapore, here's a suggested itinerary:
Morning: Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall
-> Gardens by the Bay
-> Enjoy a delicious meal
-> Marvel at the Supertree Show
-> Catch the Marina Bay Sands Light & Water Show
Cloud Forest (aka 'Jurassic World') solo tickets are only available for 'on-site' booking. |
★ Cloud Forest + Flower Dome (Highly recommended for couples!) ★ · Klook ~$35 · KKday ~$35 · Trip.com ~$26 |
★ Cloud Forest + Flower Dome + Supertree Observatory (Perfect for a full-day adventure!) · Klook ~$46 · KKday ~$46 · Trip.com ~$46 |
The nightly Light & Water Show in front of Marina Bay Sands Mall = FREE! |

According to the article, standalone Cloud Forest tickets can only be reserved on-site. While the official website sells individual tickets, these are exclusively for Singapore residents.
Based on the information provided in the article, Trip.com offers the cheapest purchase at ~$26. Klook is ~$35, and KKday is ~$35.
We recommend the 7:30 PM showtime. It's best to arrive at least 30 minutes to an hour beforehand to secure a good spot. We suggest bringing a mat or sarong to sit or lie down comfortably while watching.
Since it's a long walk from the entrance to Jurassic World (Cloud Forest), we recommend using the shuttle. You can purchase a round-trip ticket for 3 SGD per adult on-site.
The article states that visiting the Supertree Observatory is inefficient and does not recommend it. You can only go up until 4 PM, which complicates the itinerary, and it suggests that viewing the Supertrees from the Marina Bay Sands rooftop is a better option.
