Right from the exterior, there's a lot of Korean written,
so you can immediately tell how much the owner welcomes Korean visitors, haha.

There are 1-2 person seats, perfect for dining alone,
and also 2-6 person tables,
making it great for group visits too.
2. Menu

There are two types of yakiniku courses.
We opted for the ~$51 course, which includes various yakiniku cuts and side dishes like galbi (ribs), anchange-sal (skirt steak), moche-sal (chuck tender), usul (beef tongue),
motsunabe, dessert, and more,
allowing you to fully enjoy them.
And if you make a reservation in advance, you get a discount of 500 yen per person,
so I highly recommend reserving before you visit!

3. Premium Course Review

Kimchi and a lettuce salad were served first,
and they weren't overly sweet, with a crisp and spicy flavor that was just right,
even appealing to Korean palates.

And you absolutely can't forget
a glass of ice-cold draft beer 🍻

Our first cut was the incredible Special Prime Galbi.
Just look at that beautiful marbling
woven through the lean meat!
It was so tender and deliciously savory.

While it's great to cut the long slices of meat,
I found that taking a big bite and letting the flavors
explode in your mouth was absolutely divine! Haha.

Just as we were finishing up the galbi,
they brought out the Beef Tongue (Gyutan),
and it was stunning! Sprinkled with delicate gold flakes.

Since beef tongue is a thin cut, you don't grill it for long.
We just seared both sides until golden, and with every chew,
it offered a clean, savory taste with that distinct,
nutty gyutan flavor.
It was incredibly tender, just melting in my mouth.

The Motsunabe arrived piping hot in an earthenware pot.
Its broth was incredibly deep and rich,
making it a fantastic pairing with the yakiniku.
The plump large intestines and generous amount of vegetables were perfect for a refreshing break between meat courses,
making every subsequent bite of yakiniku even more delightful!

Next up were the Skirt Steak (Anchangsal) and Sirloin Flap (Mungchisal),
and these cuts were even more generously dusted with gold flakes!
As soon as they hit the table, everyone's cameras were out in full force, haha!

The gold flakes truly elevated the yakiniku,
making it look incredibly luxurious.
This course is priced around ~$51, but the visual presentation alone makes it seem like it's easily worth over ~$73! 👀✨
While it's fantastic for a meal with friends,
I especially recommend it if you're looking for a special yet value-for-money
dining experience to share with your parents.

The Skirt Steak (Anchangsal) was delightfully tender with a satisfying chew,
and bursting with rich, savory juices.
As for the Sirloin Flap (Mungchisal), it was clean and delicious,
with a subtle nutty flavor that emerged with every bite,
ultimately melting away beautifully in my mouth.

The course also included delicious Grilled Onigiri,
which we toasted right on the grill!
It was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside,
making it an excellent accompaniment to the meat.
Plus, with its savory glaze, it was so good, you could easily enjoy it on its own too!

While eating Oginiri, I found myself craving soup again,
so I added **udon**!
The udon was an extra order,
but the noodle portion was generous and the broth tasted so clean and refreshing,
I'm so glad I added it!
Plus, there was a generous amount of chives, adding a superb crunch! 👍

We also ordered a cheese okonomiyaki,
and it turns out the owner, before running this yakiniku hotspot,
used to work at an okonomiyaki shop!
No wonder then, it tasted as fantastic as if it came from a specialty shop,
The crispy exterior and the crunchy bean sprouts were absolutely delightful.

When we ordered the okonomiyaki,
they even left us a message in Korean!
This was one of the most memorable moments
of my Fukuoka trip!

To finish the course, we enjoyed a refreshing
yuzu ice cream, a perfect end to our meal!

From various delicious cuts like Galbi (short ribs), Anchangsal (outside skirt steak), and Udunsal (round steak),
to motsunabe, udon, okonomiyaki, and more,
Fukuoka's yakiniku hotspot, **Ren**, allowed us to enjoy a wide array of Japanese dishes all at once, making our visit even more fulfilling.
What's more, it's a place that truly delivers on both value for money and stunning presentation,
so if you're ever in Fukuoka, I highly recommend checking it out!
