On this Fukuoka trip, one of our must-visit spots was none other than the Hakata Pokémon Center!
If you're a Pokémon fan,
it's practically impossible to just walk past without stopping!
We popped into the Pokémon Center while exploring KITTE,
and it turned out they were selling card packs, so of course, we had to grab some!
The card packs I ended up getting were
Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia!

Pokémon Center Fukuoka is located on the
2nd floor of Hakata Marui!
It's super convenient to get to, just about a 3-minute walk from Hakata Station.

The store was packed with such a fantastic variety of Pokémon merchandise;
it was an absolute blast just browsing around! 😄
🛒 Full of Diverse Merch! Pokémon Center Exclusive Goods

They even had a special collaboration with Ichiran,
selling ramen bowls and ramen spoons!
The ramen bowls were well over ¥5,000 each,
so we decided to pick up just one of the more affordable
spoons instead... haha!

And during my visit,
there was also a Godzilla pop-up event happening right next to the Pokémon Center!
It seems like they host various pop-up events,
so it's a great idea to check for information before you visit.

✨ Buying Mega Brave & Mega Symphonia
The Japanese Pokémon card pack I bought this time was Mega Brave.
The price was ¥180 per pack!
(10 packs per person purchase limit)

Initially, I planned to buy Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia packs,
mixing the two.
But my husband suddenly suggested we go "all-in" on Mega Brave
(the start of his foresight!),
so we ended up buying 10 packs per person, a total of 20 packs!

Buying Pokémon cards directly in Japan
added a delightful little joy to our trip!😊
After visiting the Pokémon Center,
we went to Ebisu Bar.
While waiting for our food, we opened the packs
and something incredible came out!! LOL
✨ Exciting Card Pack Opening!

That moment you tear open a card pack
is always thrilling 💓
Hoping for good cards,
we opened them one by one.
But guess what!
A card we never expected popped out! 😳

It was the Golden Mega Lucario ex MUR!
The shimmering gold design
was truly impressive!

And on top of that, Mega Venusaur ex (RR) also made an appearance!
Pulling them ourselves made us even happier,
and it was a truly memorable moment from our trip!

And here are the remnants of our failed pulls... LOL
💗 Fukuoka Pokémon Center Visit Review

It's near Hakata Station, so accessibility is great.
You can browse Pokémon merchandise
and even buy card packs at their regular price.
So, if you're a Pokémon fan,
it's definitely a place worth visiting!

And if you're a Pokopia player,
there are tons of cute goods like Ditto and Pale Pikachu,
so it'll be even more fun for you!
What a little burst of joy on this Fukuoka trip!
I'm already looking forward to seeing what cards
will pop up next time! 🥰
