Mina Tenjin is a popular shopping spot, with stores like GU and Uniqlo, but many visitors overlook the fantastic finds on the 7th floor.
Today's post is all about the treasure trove that is BOOKOFF and GIGO on Mina Tenjin's 7th floor!

BOOKOFF and GIGO are both located on the 7th floor of the Mina Tenjin building.
It's a perfect stop before or after your Uniqlo shopping spree!
We took the elevator straight up. When you exit, GIGO is to your left, and the BOOKOFF entrance is straight ahead.
Figures are displayed right by the entrance, so if you're a fan of Japanese figure shops, you'll feel that thrill of excitement even before stepping inside!
The One Piece corner prominently featured a great lineup of Luffy figures, along with the latest Nami figures. I've never actually watched One Piece, but somehow I know all the main character names – isn't that funny how popular culture works?
You'll also find figures for Naruto, Minato, and Bleach's Ichigo. I already have a Naruto figure at home, so I skipped that one!
In this section, I didn't recognize many characters, but I did spot Sakamoto Days and One-Punch Man, which are always cool.
And of course, my current favorite, Gojo Satoru! 💕 They had both the Grandista version and the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death version. I have so many gachapon at home that I barely have space, but I still ended up buying one!
The anime merchandise zone!
Keychains were neatly organized by series, making it easy to find what you're looking for. There were also plenty of random can badges, perfect for a small, fun souvenir.
The Chainsaw Man merchandise zone had Denji and Beam keychains. My absolute favorite is Reze, but sadly she wasn't there.
They also had classic lineups like Naruto and Gintama. It's hard to believe Naruto is considered a classic now; I only watched it a couple of years ago, around 2024!
Everything was displayed so clearly by series, making it incredibly easy to find specific characters.
The Chiikawa corner was filled with adorable plush keychains and acrylic goods. They look perfect for adorning a bag!
Next up was the Demon Slayer corner, which I was really looking forward to.
However, many shelves were empty due to popular demand. I was hoping to find Giyu, but unfortunately, he was sold out. Given its immense popularity, most of the Demon Slayer items were sold out, which was a bit disappointing.
And of course, Jujutsu Kaisen, which I'm currently obsessed with! I picked up another Satoru acrylic keychain here.
After browsing all the figures and keychains, you can head to the central aisle, where other displays and sections continue, allowing for more exploration.
Since many of the Demon Slayer goods I was most excited about were gone, I decided to head straight to GIGO.
GIGO is right next to BOOKOFF, so it's super convenient to transition directly after you're done browsing.

Disney & Pixar Character Crane Games
It seems Zootopia was a big hit in Japan too, as there were plenty of Zootopia plushies scattered throughout the arcade.
The adorable Chiikawa corner! They were cute, but the setup looked incredibly challenging, so I decided to pass.
I spent ~$14 in the mikko zone!
If you're struggling, you can always ask a staff member for help. I'm so bad at these games that even with assistance, I couldn't win!
Inside the machines, they had large Sanrio plushies featuring mikko collaboration designs, as well as unique plushies in leopard print costumes.
This was the crane game zone for popular Sanrio characters like Kuromi, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll. A must-visit for Sanrio lovers!
Even though he's a bit goofy-looking, Hangyodon is still cute! I was looking for a Hangyodon in an outfit, but couldn't spot one.
My absolute favorite, Meltykiss!
Even if you don't play the crane games, Meltykiss is a winter-exclusive chocolate, so make sure to grab some if you visit during the colder months! Many say it's even better than Royce!
One side of the arcade also has a dedicated gachapon area.
I'm always on the lookout for TV gachapon, so I always pay close attention to the gacha zones!
There was even a special Pink Black Party Mascot gachapon celebrating My Melody's 50th and Kuromi's 20th anniversaries!
They had a wide variety of mini-figure gachapon based on games and anime, including Pokémon Battle Figures, Fall Guys, and Thomas the Tank Engine Plarail.
From quirky characters like Kung Fu Boo to global IP gachapon like Apex Legends and Disney Villains, it was incredibly fun just to look around.
Having BOOKOFF for figures and merchandise, and then GIGO right next door for crane games and gachapon, all on Mina Tenjin's 7th floor, was super convenient.
While the gachapon shop isn't huge, they sometimes have rare finds, like the bus bell gacha, so it's worth a look if you're into unique collectibles!
Book Off on the 7th floor of Mina Tenjin operates daily from 10 AM to 9 PM. Card payments are accepted, and tax-free shopping is also available.
Book Off and GIGO are located together on the 7th floor of the Mina Tenjin building. When you take the elevator to the 7th floor, GIGO will be on your left, and the Book Off entrance will be straight ahead.
In the Mina Tenjin Book Off figure section, you could find the Grandista version and the Kaigyoku/Gyokusetu version of the Jujutsu Kaisen Satoru Gojo figure. In addition to these, various other anime figures such as One Piece and Naruto were also displayed.
In the mikko zone of the GIGO crane game arcade, there were large Sanrio dolls with mikko collaboration designs and unique dolls wearing leopard print costumes. If you're having trouble winning a doll, you can ask a staff member for assistance.
