Mars Garden Hotel: Location & Key Benefits
Next, I'll show you its prime location on a map and
share some of my favorite advantages of staying here.

As you can see on the map, Hakata Station is right next to Fukuoka Airport,
offering direct and easy access.
What's more, with access to both the Airport Line and Nanakuma Line subway routes,
navigating the city becomes incredibly convenient.
Plus, since it's a major hub for JR Express and Shinkansen trains,
exploring nearby regions or even other cities is a breeze.

Mars Garden Hotel is located just a mere minute away from Hakata Station,
making it an incredibly convenient base for all your travel needs throughout your trip.

Furthermore, for many visitors to Fukuoka who embark on popular
day trips to charming destinations like Yufuin and Hita,
the departure point is often the rotary on the east side of Hakata Station.
This makes it incredibly convenient to join early morning tours,
which is why I truly feel this hotel offers unparalleled travel convenience.
My Stay Review: Standard Double Room
Next, I'll share everything from the lobby and check-in experience to
my full review of a stay in the Standard Double Room.

As I stepped into the hotel to check in, I noticed quite a few suitcases stored to one side.
It's wonderful that they offer luggage storage both before and after check-in.
This meant I could drop off my bags without any worries, whether arriving early or departing late.

During my visit, there was a staff member who spoke Korean, which made the check-in process incredibly smooth.
Just a heads-up: I had to pay a separate accommodation tax of 200 yen per person upon check-in.

After checking in, I headed up to my assigned room, 513.
The lobby itself was incredibly neat and inviting, decorated in lovely beige and brown tones.

My room had a pretty standard layout: the bathroom was to the right of the entrance, and the bedroom was further inside.

The bedroom featured a comfy double-sized bed perfect for two, and a cozy room robe was waiting right on top of it.

At the foot of the bed, there was a wall-mounted TV and an air purifier – simple, yet thoughtful amenities.

Next to the bed, you'll find a single-person table and a refrigerator. What's more, the space leading to the entrance was surprisingly ample!
This meant there was plenty of room to spread out my suitcase, which is always a bonus for any traveler.

We received one bottle of water per person, along with coffee, tea bags, and a kettle. It was absolutely perfect for enjoying a warm morning coffee to kickstart the day.

In the little nook near the entrance, there was a suitcase stand and disposable slippers for the room. Plus, a full-length mirror made it super convenient to check my outfits before heading out!

The bathroom was spacious, featuring a toilet, sink, and a wonderful bathtub. What truly impressed me was the size of the tub – it was large enough for a grown man to comfortably enjoy a relaxing half-body bath, making it absolutely perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration!

The bathroom amenities were comprehensive, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, a hairdryer, and various disposable items. A definite plus was the thoughtful inclusion of body lotion!

Additionally, there was one hand towel and one bath towel,
so even for a one-night stay, I experienced no discomfort.

Beyond the room itself, the amenities included a washing machine, a dryer,
a microwave, and an ice maker.
I loved that when I bought drinks in the evening, I could enjoy them perfectly chilled.
