Hello!
This is Mini, bringing you travel stories from Japan, hand-picked by Mini!
This Fukuoka trip was a 3-person adventure with friends,
so I really agonized over where to stay.
When you have more people, bathroom and living room space become really important, right?
After a storm of searching, I found the perfect accommodation
for family trips, friendship trips, and group travels.
It's a detached Airbnb, just a 9-minute walk from Sakurazaka Station,
called 谷の灯.
I'll honestly break down its value for money, location, and facilities.

Why I Chose Fukuoka Airbnb 谷の灯
When choosing accommodation,
the size of the space, the number of bathrooms, and subway accessibility
were the three most important factors for me.
This place is located in an upscale residential area near Sakurazaka Station,
so it's very quiet and safe, even late at night.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Tenjin or Hakata,
you can experience an authentic Japanese ambiance.

Both Seven-Eleven and Sakurazaka Station are just a 9-minute walk away,
so accessibility was excellent.
The neighborhood also has many hidden gems like delicious restaurants and charming cafes, making it perfect for a stroll.

Layout & Facilities Review
This place is a 3-story detached house, perfect for those looking for accommodation in Fukuoka for 4 or more people,
featuring 4 bedrooms, 9 beds, and 2 bathrooms.

The biggest advantage is that you get to use the entire space exclusively,
allowing for a truly private stay.

On the first floor, the living room had
a beam projector and a sofa, perfect for watching OTT content,
and there was even a height-adjustable desk, great for getting some work done.

On the second floor, there was a dining table for four,
which was just perfect for enjoying snacks we bought from the convenience store,
and we definitely made use of it for our nightly snack sessions!

A refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and even dinnerware are all fully equipped.

With a baby stroller and bed also available,
it's definitely a highly recommended accommodation for family trips with children.

The separated structure of the washbasin, toilet, and bathtub made it
convenient for multiple people to get ready at the same time.
Amenities provided include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothbrushes,
❗️Please note that soap and toothpaste are not provided, so be sure to bring your own.

Honest Review: The Cleaning Issue
On the day of check-in, the cleaning hadn't been fully completed yet.
When I immediately contacted the host, they explained it was a vendor error
and quickly came to resolve the issue.
After the cleaning, they even provided snacks,
which actually made an even better impression!

Their prompt and responsible response built my trust,
and the rest of our stay was wonderfully comfortable.
