Busan~Fukuoka Flights
I just checked for Busan-Fukuoka flights,
and depending on the date and airline, you can find round-trip tickets for **around ~$73**!

Eastar Jet announced an increase in its Busan-Fukuoka route,
with 2-3 round trips daily from August 29 to October 24, 2026.
More flights mean more options for us travelers, right? 😉

However, flight prices change in real-time based on dates, times, baggage inclusion,
and booking time, so **around ~$73** isn't guaranteed.

International fuel surcharges are also up for September, so if you see a good price, it's best to **check the final payment amount** and book it right away!

Fukuoka in Autumn
Once the scorching summer heat gives way to crisp autumn air,
traveling in Fukuoka becomes so much more pleasant.
As autumn deepens, you can even enjoy beautiful fall foliage in various spots, which is why
I absolutely adore traveling in Japan during this season! 😍

However, the autumn leaves don't start changing color right from early September.
If your main goal is to see the fall foliage, it's a good idea to check the local autumn leaf forecast for your travel dates before you go.

There's another reason why I love Fukuoka:
getting from the airport to the city center is incredibly easy!
It doesn't feel like you're spending half a day just on transportation,
which is often the case with international travel.

If you're departing from Busan, you can freely plan your itinerary from a day trip to a **1-night, 2-day or even a 2-night, 3-day adventure! 😊**
**

From shopping in Hakata and Tenjin to indulging in ramen, motsunabe, and yakitori, and even browsing Don Quijote and playing a few rounds of gacha, a day here just flies by! 😄

Go! Fukuoka Accommodation Support 3,000 yen
This autumn, there's even more reason to keep an eye on Fukuoka
for your travels!
Fukuoka Prefecture is running the Go! Fukuoka tourism
campaign!

For stays from July 7, 2026, to February 28, 2027,
foreign tourists visiting Japan will receive
accommodation support worth 3,000 yen per person per night.

If two people stay for one night, that's a calculated value of 6,000 yen.
It's a pretty substantial amount off your accommodation, isn't it! T_T
This isn't a 'apply later and get a refund' kind of deal.

The discount is applied directly when you book through
participating international booking sites like Expedia, Agoda, Trip.com, and more!!

Eligible Areas & Important Notes
Now, here's a really important point!!
Hotels in Hakata and Tenjin are NOT eligible for this support.
Hakata and Tenjin are excluded because they're in Fukuoka City.
Kokura and Moji-ko are also excluded as they're part of Kitakyushu City.

Instead, these areas ARE included in the campaign:
Dazaifu, Itoshima, Yanagawa, Kurume, Munakata,
Fukutsu, Asakura, and more.
However, just because a lodging is in one of these areas doesn't mean
all accommodations automatically qualify for the discount.

You'll need to personally check on the booking site if the campaign
is applicable to the accommodation product you're viewing :)
Recommended 2-Day 1-Night Itinerary
Instead of just staying in Hakata as usual,
how about trying something a little different this time?
This itinerary is perfect! Haha.

Arrive in Fukuoka from Busan
→ Enjoy shopping and explore foodie spots in Hakata/Tenjin
→ Stay 1 night at an eligible Go! Fukuoka suburban accommodation
→ Sightsee in suburban areas like Dazaifu/Itoshima, then return home

With the suburban accommodation support,
you'll be saving an extra 3,000 yen per person!
If you're traveling by rental car,
connecting between the city and suburbs becomes even more flexible! Haha.

If you save on flights AND accommodation, you can definitely use the extra cash for
gacha and shopping, right?! LOL.
