The Fukuoka Airport departure duty-free shops are accessible after you've cleared immigration on the 3rd floor of the International Terminal.

Once you're through immigration, you'll naturally find yourself in the duty-free area, designed as a "walk-through" experience.

This walk-through concept was introduced during the 2025 expansion, which saw the area grow from about 16,000 square feet to approximately 64,500 square feet.

With so much to see and do, arriving at the airport a little early might just be a great idea!

02 Fashion Brands

You can find not only shoes but also apparel right inside the airport. If you missed a store visit during your trip, this is a great last chance to browse before you fly out!

04 Uniqlo & Bic Camera Were Here Too!

I was quite surprised to see Uniqlo alongside the luxury brands!

The **Uniqlo** store isn't huge, but it's well-stocked with a good selection of items.

05 HAKATA FOOD HALL Food Court

After you've finished your shopping, you can grab a meal at the **HAKATA FOOD HALL**.

When I visited, I found several restaurants gathered in one spacious area, with clear menus displayed upfront, making it easy to choose what to eat.

You can find everything from **Udon, Yakitori, Kaisen-don, Tempura, Motsunabe, Tonkatsu, and Ramen**.

If you're short on time, I recommend quick options like **Udon or Ramen**. But if you want a final taste of Fukuoka's signature dishes, definitely go for Motsunabe!

My Duty-Free Experience

If you're used to the old Fukuoka Airport International Terminal, you'll definitely notice a huge difference in scale. The renovation has given it a sparkling, brand-new feel.
