The bold, black lettering on the hotel's exterior makes it easy to spot.
Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the clean, contemporary atmosphere. It felt instantly calming. I also noticed the tactile paving on the floor—a small but significant sign of the hotel's thoughtful and inclusive design. Plus, a new park was recently built nearby, making it a perfect spot for a refreshing morning walk.
The lobby is bright and airy, with a spacious terrazzo counter, light beige sofas, and warm wood-paneled walls creating a sophisticated vibe. The best part? The check-in process is fully automated and incredibly convenient. The kiosk has payment terminals and QR code scanners for a completely contactless experience. With clear instructions in both Japanese and English, it's a breeze for international travelers.
In the lobby, you'll find a tray with complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes, cotton swabs, and wipes. You can just grab what you need, which is super convenient. I was impressed by this thoughtful touch. I later learned that the hotel recently upgraded its amenity brand to a much higher-quality line, which was a pleasant surprise.
As soon as I entered my room, I was enveloped in a clean and cozy atmosphere. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
The double bed, with its crisp white linens, looked incredibly inviting. The dark wood headboard with its soft, indirect lighting added a touch of warmth. I loved the small shelf next to the bed—perfect for my phone and book—complete with its own reading light, power outlet, and light switch. While the room is compact, it's perfectly sized and efficiently designed for a solo traveler.
The wall-mounted TV provided a wealth of information, from hotel facilities and local channels to streaming apps and area guides. Most importantly, the Wi-Fi information was clearly displayed, so getting online was no trouble at all.
The bathroom's clean and stylish design immediately brightened my mood. Though compact, the space was laid out very efficiently. A small shelf above the toilet provided extra, useful storage. The shower stall, while not huge, had everything I needed, including neatly arranged bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
The shower amenities were all from the brand Kradle. I was happy to see they are made with plant-based ingredients, which felt gentle and safe for my skin.

When it was time to leave, I found a 'CURRENCY EXCHANGE' kiosk and a 'KEY DROP BOX' in the lobby. The instructions were simple: if you have no extra charges, just drop your keycard in the box. It saved me from waiting in line and made my departure completely stress-free.
The hotel also provides generously sized luggage lockers, perfect for storing your bags before check-in or after check-out so you can explore the city unburdened.
The breakfast area is divided into a bar counter and table seating, offering a comfortable space to start your day. They serve a variety of options like bread, fruit, and salads, and the staff was always friendly and helpful.
Some might ask, "Why not just stay right in Tenjin?" And that's a fair question. But in a city like Fukuoka where hotel prices can skyrocket, especially on weekends, finding a high-quality room for around ~$77 is an absolute win. The fact that it's within easy walking distance of a subway station, as well as both the Tenjin and Hakata districts, makes its location incredibly strategic. If I'm ever back in Fukuoka on a weekend, I know exactly where I'll be staying. This place is a true game-changer.

The admission fee is usually free or very low (around 200 JPY, or ~$2), making it an accessible and enriching experience. Even if you don't stay at this hotel, I highly recommend adding it to your Fukuoka itinerary.
