Fiji Nadi Airport Guide 2026: Fiji Airways & Hotel Transfers

After wrapping up our beautiful honeymoon in Fiji, we didn't head straight back to Korea.

Instead, we booked a flight to Sydney to extend our adventures!

We intentionally chose our last accommodation in Fiji to be near Nadi Airport

and made use of the Tokatoka Hotel's airport pick-up and drop-off shuttle service.

Flying with Fiji Airways, we traveled from Nadi International Airport

to Sydney Airport.

1. Tokatoka Hotel Airport Pick-Up & Drop-Off Shuttle

Tokatoka Resort is located just a 3-minute drive

or a 12-minute walk from Nadi International Airport,

making it incredibly close and convenient.

Most resorts near Nadi Airport

offer airport pick-up and drop-off services,

and Tokatoka Resort also provides free airport transfers.

It’s completely free, and a shuttle runs every 20 to 30 minutes.

Since our flight was departing at 9:00 AM,

we took the 6:30 AM shuttle.

We arrived at Nadi Airport in the blink of an eye!

Taxi fares can be quite expensive in Fiji,

but Tokatoka Resort’s room rates are very reasonable at just over ~$64 per night.

Plus, with the free airport shuttle, it was absolutely

the perfect choice for our final night in Fiji.

2. Fiji Airways Check-In

Our Fiji Airways flight to Sydney was

scheduled for 9:00 AM, and we arrived at the airport 2 hours and 20 minutes early,

and the check-in counters were already open.

The waiting area had a regular check-in line and a dedicated bag drop line.

The bag drop line was significantly shorter,

so we decided to use the self-service check-in kiosks behind us first,

and then join the bag drop queue.

The self-service check-in kiosks at Nadi International Airport

seem to support only three airlines:

Air New Zealand, Fiji Airways, and Qantas.

Simply select Fiji Airways, enter your booking reference,

and proceed to the next step.

Select the passengers you want to check in, click next,

and scan both passports.

Once you enter passenger details like your phone number and email address,

your boarding passes will be printed.

Taking your printed boarding passes straight to the Bag Drop line

makes checking in your baggage much faster.

You can head towards passport control to go through the next steps,

but since we were feeling a bit peckish and had plenty of time,

we grabbed a quick breakfast at Burger King first.

3. Airport Duty-Free & Souvenir Shops

If you didn't get a chance to buy any souvenirs during your trip,

you can head to the airport a little early and browse the souvenir shops.

Even in the shops located before immigration,

there's a wide variety of stuffed toys, magnets, and local handicrafts.

Even after entering the duty-free area past security,

I was pleasantly surprised by how diverse the selection was.

From Fiji coconut vodka and noni juice

to Pure Fiji cosmetics and rugby merchandise—

I ended up buying a bottle of noni juice as a gift for my colleagues at work.
