Since it was a large family of 10 people traveling together,
we were able to stay with my friends' family at Fiesta Americana,
a budget-friendly resort in Cancun that my friends' family always visits whenever they go to Cancun.

Three Resorts to Choose From, Depending on Your Travel Style
In Cancun, there are a total of three Fiesta Americana resorts.
Fiesta Americana Condesa,
Fiesta Americana Coral Beach,
And the one we visited, Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas.
Fiesta Americana Condesa and Coral Beach are both all-inclusive resorts,
if Condesa is more popular and family-friendly,
Coral Beach is more premium, geared towards couples seeking a relaxing getaway.
On the other hand, Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas, where we stayed,
isn't all-inclusive because it's a budget-friendly Cancun resort, but it does come with a kitchen,
and thanks to its affordable price, it's popular with large families, locals, and long-term guests.

A Budget-Friendly Cancun Resort Perfect for Large Families
The drive from Cancun Airport to the central Hotel Zone is also incredibly scenic.
Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas is located at the very north of the Cancun Hotel Zone.
It's a surprisingly long distance, taking at least 30 minutes from the airport to the Hotel Zone.

The check-in staff were incredibly friendly,
and right next to the check-in counter, a path connects directly to the pool and private beach.
The moment you open the door, paradise unfolds before your eyes!
A wristband used instead of a card, which you receive at check-in.
Inside the Room
A View Unveiling the Sea and Pool Right Before Your Eyes
Since it's a budget-friendly Cancun resort, instead of being all-inclusive,
it comes equipped with a kitchen and various cooking utensils.
And in the living room, thanks to the sofa bed, up to 3 people can stay together.
And in the inner room, you'll also find a king-size bed and a TV.
And the absolute highlight of this room is the floor-to-ceiling window!
Draw back the curtains, and the stunning Cancun sea unfolds right before your eyes.
The living room was just as delightful, beautiful enough to simply gaze at,
Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas: A Superb Value Resort in Cancun
It's great that the bathroom is completely separate.
However, just like many resorts, toothbrushes are not included in the amenities.
And here's the view from the 3rd floor room at Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas, where other family members stayed.
And to the left on the way to the 1st-floor pool, you'll find a Kids' Cafe, perfect for the little ones.
Operating hours were until 4 or 5 PM.
On-Site Resort Restaurants

Inside the resort, there are restaurants located at the lobby and in front of the outdoor pool.
To enjoy the stunning Cancun ocean views, we opted for the restaurant in front of the outdoor pool!
The restaurant also offered great value for money, and the service was excellent.
Spa & Fitness Center
Right next to the Resort Entrance
The spa and fitness center are located next to the reception.
We skipped the spa, as it definitely wasn't a budget-friendly option 😅
Also, sneakers are required for the fitness center.
It was a bit of a shame that it was in a semi-basement, so there wasn't a separate view,
but it seemed to have more equipment than I expected.
Pools & Jacuzzis
Pools with Ocean Views and Jacuzzis to Melt Away Fatigue
From the moment I stepped out of the lobby, the pool personally looked so inviting that I couldn't wait to jump in!
The jacuzzis are also located in the center of the pool, with perfectly warm water!
Private Beach Access
Where Resort Guests Can Enjoy the Cancun Ocean Exclusively
And in the coastal city of Cancun, without the crowds,
there's a Cancun private beach exclusively for resort guests!
What's more, Fiesta Americana Cancun Villas is located at the northernmost tip of the Hotel Zone,
making it a place where you can even witness breathtaking sunsets in Cancun, which is generally on the east!
The Cancun ocean boasted the most vibrant blue I've ever seen among all the seas worldwide.
It became clear why Cancun is so renowned as a honeymoon destination!
However, the waves in Cancun can be incredibly strong, so you'll want to exercise caution if you're swimming in the ocean.
If you're heading to Cancun with friends or a big family and are on the hunt for a fantastic resort that offers amazing value,
I can't recommend Fiesta Americana Cancún Villas enough! It's truly a top-notch, budget-friendly resort in Cancun.
