Even with a great flight, you might be wondering where to find the best spots to eat and drink in Brisbane.
Today, we're thrilled to introduce you to Felons Brewing Co., a fantastic spot where you can soak in Brisbane's stunning night views while enjoying delicious craft beer!

Felons Brewing Co. is a popular brewery located about 0.6 miles from Central Station, right on the Brisbane River, directly in front of the iconic Story Bridge.
You can easily walk there from the city center, but for a more scenic route, hop on a Brisbane City Ferry and disembark at the Howard Smith Wharves terminal, which drops you right at their doorstep.
This spot is incredibly popular with both tourists and locals, so expect it to be bustling, especially during peak evening hours.
Since it's renowned for its incredible night views, let's dive into the evening ambiance of this fantastic pub first.
One side of the outdoor area is designed like a park, complete with plenty of benches and beanbag chairs.
When we visited, there was a huge screen showing a soccer match, and locals were absolutely loving the combination of sports and beer.
The riverside seating is the absolute prime spot, offering breathtaking views of both the Story Bridge and the city skyline.
On this particular evening, it had rained earlier, so we were lucky to find most of the outdoor seats available. However, as the night progressed, it steadily filled up.
Beyond the bar seating, there are also plenty of 4-6 person bench tables, so even if you're visiting with a group, you'll likely find a comfortable spot.
From almost any seat here, you'll have an unobstructed view of the stunning city lights.
Beyond the stunning exterior, the indoor space also boasts a fantastic, vibrant atmosphere.
Often, you'll find live bands performing, adding to the lively and energetic vibe. Whether it's a chilly winter evening or a hot summer night, enjoying your drinks indoors offers an authentic local experience.
Here's a quick rundown of their menu offerings.
Beer sizes vary from 6.8 fl oz (200ml) to 33.8 fl oz (1,000ml), with prices typically ranging from ~$4 to ~$23, which can be a bit on the pricier side. Therefore, we highly recommend the Testing Paddle, which allows you to sample a variety of beers at a more reasonable cost.
Beyond beer, they also offer a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages, rum, vodka, and other spirits, so you're sure to find something to suit your taste.
Ordering is simple via the QR code located at each table. You'll need to complete your payment online when you order, so make sure to use a phone with good data reception (slow Australian data can be frustrating!).

Just placing the beers on the bar, with the stunning backdrop, instantly created such a cool, atmospheric vibe, wouldn't you agree?
The tasting menu offers excellent value, allowing you to choose four different beers from their diverse selection. Plus, they provide a handy sheet indicating each beer type, so you can easily compare and find your favorites.
From ales to lagers and IPAs, the beers were generally smooth and incredibly enjoyable. They really hit the spot!
But what truly made the experience special was toasting against the backdrop of such a beautiful nightscape. It just added an extra layer of happiness to the evening.
Felons Brewing Co. truly satisfied both our desire for spectacular night views and our craving for an authentic local pub experience.
It was a double win: incredible city views outdoors and live entertainment indoors. We particularly enjoyed the authentic local vibe, as it felt truly integrated into the Brisbane scene.
