I'm thrilled to share my incredible experience flying with EVA Air, Taiwan's national carrier! It was such a fantastic journey that I just had to document it.💚
First off, their mobile check-in and app are incredibly user-friendly. From booking to selecting my seat, everything was a breeze right from my phone. Plus, you can even pre-select or change your in-flight meal!
And here's the kicker: EVA Air allows TWO checked bags, each up to ~50 lbs (23 kg)! That's absolutely amazing for travelers who love to shop or just pack a little extra. Incredible!

I enjoyed a standard in-flight meal, and with mobile check-in available 48 hours before departure, I was able to add my boarding pass to my iPhone Wallet for super-fast processing at the airport.

As a national carrier, it’s no surprise the aircraft was spacious with plenty of legroom, making for a very comfortable flight. If you get a bit chilly, simply ask a flight attendant for a blanket – they're happy to provide one!

Each seat comes equipped with a personal monitor, a remote for games, and headphones. I was initially confused by the two headphone jacks, but found the correct one conveniently located on the armrest. The best part? Free Wi-Fi onboard! What incredible service!

Since my flight to Taipei departed around 11:00 AM, lunch was served shortly after takeoff. The meal was a delicious Taiwanese 'Lu Rou Fan,' a savory braised pork over rice. It was absolutely delightful! I paired it with a red wine, which was a perfect match. For dessert, I expected a strong matcha flavor from the aroma, but it turned out to be more of a green tea cream. While not exactly what I anticipated, it was still a tasty dessert for an in-flight treat!

The flight attendants also served coffee, which I enjoyed with my meal. After eating, I barely closed my eyes before we arrived – a quick 3-hour flight, how convenient! Upon landing at Taipei airport, I collected my baggage. The airport itself was incredibly clean and streamlined, making immigration and entry a breeze. Taiwan truly felt like a modern, vibrant destination! 🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼

On my return flight, which was an early morning departure, I was served breakfast. It felt like a hotel-quality meal, making for a very pleasant start to the day! The omelet was delicious, and the hash brown was perfect! I skipped the sausage, as it had a slight Taiwanese spice flavor that I wasn't in the mood for after all the amazing food I'd already eaten in Taiwan. I even enjoyed some white wine with my breakfast, finishing off with a cup of coffee. What a way to fly!

My journey with EVA Air, Taiwan's national airline, was truly exceptional. I highly recommend them for your next trip to Taipei!
