Step out of the hotel and you'll find yourself right on

Matsuyama Okaido

Shopping Street, meaning it's super close to

drugstores and restaurants.

As you open the door and step inside,

you'll see the bathroom door, the room door,

and a washbasin in this area.

Open the room door, and you'll enter the room itself.

Right next to the bed,

there were USB ports and outlets,

which was super convenient

for charging my phone

while relaxing in bed!

The hotel pajamas come with a top and bottom (trousers),

and you can even wear them to the large public hot spring bath (onsen)!

*Remember to bring your towels from your room when you go!*

Slippers are also provided,

and in the fridge,

you'll find two bottles of water and

apple-flavored jelly!

(This seems to be consistent across all Dormy Inn locations!)

The double bed was spacious,

and it was placed right next to the window, which was lovely.

Dormy Inn uses Simmons brand mattresses,

so you can expect a truly comfortable sleep!

The bathroom features a standing shower booth.

It seems the bathroom is designed to be quite streamlined,

likely because there's a fantastic

large public hot spring bath (onsen) right within the building!

Room Review

The Dormy Inn lobby isn't very big,

but it wasn't inconvenient at all.

In the lobby,

you'll find a hairbrush, razor, toothbrush set, and cotton swabs

available.

It's also great that there's a scale in the lobby

to weigh your luggage.

The water felt wonderfully smooth and good,

and the outdoor bath was a pleasant size,

larger than I expected, making it perfect to relax in.

입욕 후 아이스크림 꿀맛 :) — Ice cream tastes heavenly after a bath :)

A highly recommended feature of Dormy Inn!

And that's the fact that after your hot spring soak,

delicious ice cream is waiting for you!

Flavors include cola, soda, melon soda, lemon,

Calpis flavor, chocolate vanilla monaka, and Hershey's,

with so many varieties to choose from!

In the evening, it's ice cream,

and in the morning, it switches to yogurt!

On this floor, there's a relaxation space

with tables, manga comics, and vending machines.

Even though they are in Japanese, you can grab manga comics in a basket

and take them to your room to read!

And my absolute favorite was the

free massage chairs!

There was a bit of a wait since they're popular,

but nothing beats these for relaxing your muscles

after a warm bath!
