One essential part of any trip to Japan is,
of course, shopping at Don Quijote!
On our trip to Fukuoka this July,
we naturally made a stop at Don Quijote too.
Today, I'll be sharing a list of recommended items for your
Fukuoka Don Quijote shopping spree,
plus a discount coupon to help you save!
(Please note: Prices are based on mid-July 2026.)
First off, when you shop at Don Quijote,
it's easy to pick up more than you planned, right?
Well, there's a coupon that gives you a higher discount
the more you spend.
You'll want to know about it beforehand so you can
present it at checkout and get your discount.
(Just a heads-up, you can't apply the coupon after payment.)

I visited the Tenjin Nishidori store, located in
Fukuoka's Tenjin area.

5F - Pharmaceuticals

Typically, you'll be able to grab most of your shopping list items
on the 2nd or 4th floor.
I'll introduce them one by one below.
Snacks
First up are snacks!
I'd say this is probably the most popular category
people pick up at Don Quijote.
First, I'd recommend potato snacks like
JagaBee and Jagarico.
For Jagarico, there are various packaging types;
I recommend the convenient cup (149 yen)
and the individual bag packaging (299 yen).
Also, JagaBee in the box packaging (239 yen)
makes for a great gift.
The salt flavor and butter soy sauce flavor are particularly delicious!
Next up, Bake Cheesecake, at 359 yen,
is a wonderfully rich and soft cheese-flavored snack
that pairs perfectly with coffee.
And from Don Quijote Fukuoka, the Hakata Makana Ichigo
Strawberry Langue de Chat, with 16 pieces for 1,750 yen,
is a fantastic souvenir gift recommendation.
I actually got to taste it through a free sample,
and it was luxuriously delicious.
Next up, I want to introduce some snacks that are perfect beer accompaniments!
Tempura Vegetable Snacks 799 JPY
Mentaiko Gim Bugak (Spicy Pollack Roe Seaweed Chips) 399 JPY
Tsumami Tane 219 JPY
Kakinotane 199 JPY
Umaibo (30 sticks) 449 JPY
All four of these snacks share one fantastic trait: their savory goodness makes them an absolute perfect match for beer!
Personally, I especially love the Tsumami Tane in the red bag, which contains 10 different mixed snacks. It's so delicious, I grab a pack every time I visit!
Finally, for a sweet and savory treat that melts in your mouth, the Injeolmi Snack is a steady favorite at 239 JPY.
It's a flavor everyone loves, but it's especially a hit with adults, so I highly recommend it!
Jellies & Candies
Secondly, let's explore some fantastic jellies you can find at Don Quijote.
Rococo Jelly 139 JPY
Konjac Jelly 239 JPY
These two jellies are among the most popular items!
Rococo Jelly offers a delightful burst of flavor when you chew, while Konjac Jelly has a wonderfully smooth texture.
Pro tip: Konjac Jelly is also incredibly delicious when frozen!
I also recommend Hi-Chew at 139 JPY, and Mini Pudding Jelly at 219 JPY.
Hi-Chew is similar in taste to Korea's MyChew, and the Mini Pudding Jelly tastes like custard pudding – it's so smooth and perfect for popping one by one!
For candies, I wholeheartedly recommend Mintia.
Mintia comes in a huge variety of flavors, and prices range from 99 JPY up to the 200 JPY range.
The 99 JPY version is a smaller size with 50 tablets, while the 200 JPY version is a larger size with 30 tablets.
Personally, I suggest trying the refreshing flavors like Dry Hard and Cold Smash.
When you're traveling, your mouth can often feel a bit dry or stale, and these are just perfect for carrying around and popping whenever you need a refresh!
Chocolates
Third on our list are chocolates!
Kit Kat and Pocky both come in an incredible array of flavors.
Kit Kat, in particular, seems to release new flavors every time I visit Japan! With such a huge variety, I recommend focusing on trying the flavors you haven't experienced before.
The bagged Kit Kats are 349 JPY and are individually wrapped, making them great for souvenirs.
Pocky is 229 JPY, and for all you mint chocolate lovers out there, I highly recommend the Choco Mint flavor!
Next up, I'd love to recommend the Mini Alfort chocolate snacks, which I absolutely adore!
Alfort comes in a variety of flavors, but when I visited, there were only three types available.
Among these, I highly recommend the milk chocolate and strawberry flavors!
If you're a fan of pistachio chocolate, then I definitely suggest trying Meiji's Almond Chocolate and their Pistachio Chocolate!
Both are priced at around ~$2 each.
Ramen Varieties
For our fourth category, let's dive into some ramen!
First off, if you've been planning a trip to Fukuoka, you've probably heard of Shin-Shin Ramen at least once.
You can grab Shin-Shin Ramen in convenient packet form, so I really hope you give it a try!
It's priced at ~$2.
Next up is Ichiran Ramen, which is even more famous than Shin-Shin Ramen.
You can also snag Ichiran Ramen in various forms, like instant packets or cup noodles.
Nissin Donbei Kitsune Udon is another udon that's consistently popular among Koreans.
I highly recommend it because you can enjoy its slightly thick noodles and rich broth!
Prices vary depending on the size.
Other Delights
Finally, let's explore some other fantastic food items!
First, I recommend this soy sauce egg rice sauce, perfect for making a delicious Ganjang-Gyeran-bap (soy sauce egg rice).
It's incredibly convenient – just squeeze the individually packaged sauce directly onto a bowl of rice!
It's quite affordable at ~$2, so grab a few and whip up some Ganjang-Gyeran-bap whenever you like!
Next are these spreads that you can slather on toast.
There were two types: sweet potato and mentaiko (pollock roe) spreads, both priced at ~$2.
They taste absolutely divine when spread on warm toast.
Lastly, in Fukuoka, a city famous for mentaiko, I suggest picking up some mentaiko furikake and portable mentaiko tubes.
These are perfect accompaniments to enjoy with rice or meat.
