Curious about the new Disney Adventure sailing from Singapore? Read our honest review on dining, shows, and how we booked the best attractions.

I just got back from the brand-new Singapore Disney Cruise last week!
Since it's a newly launched route sailing out of Singapore, there wasn't a lot of information out there, so booking it felt like a bit of a leap of faith.
Our group was made up of four different families, so we had a really diverse crowd with us.
From kids and adults to total Disney newbies and hardcore Disney fanatics...
I've gathered everyone's feedback to put together a guide answering all the questions you might have!
Is there really that much to do onboard? Attractions & Shows
The Disney Cruise isn't just a way to get from A to B—it's like a massive, floating Disneyland.
Since there were no ports of call to get off and explore on our itinerary, I worried we might run out of things to do, but the quality of both the onboard attractions and the shows was absolutely incredible.
My kid even said the Ironcycle Test Run rollercoaster was the absolute highlight of our entire Singapore trip.
-> They say getting a spot is a total war, but all four families in our group managed to ride it! I'll share my best booking tips in a future post.
-> The other two attractions were geared more toward younger kids, so they weren't particularly thrilling.
-> The quality of every single show was mind-blowing. You absolutely cannot miss them.
-> There are booked character meet-and-greets, as well as characters you can just bump into around the ship.
I managed to book meet-and-greets with Mickey and Baymax, and I'll make sure to share my booking tips for that too!

How is the food? All-Inclusive, but...?
On a Disney Cruise, food is completely unlimited and included!
From breakfast to dinner, sit-down meals in gorgeous restaurants, poolside snacks, and even room service are all free.
Keep in mind, though, that tips/gratuities and alcohol are extra, and a few specialty restaurants do charge a fee.
At first, remembering how lackluster theme park food can sometimes be at Disneyland, I didn't have very high expectations.
But wow! They say dining is the highlight of any cruise, and it's so true. Every single meal we had was absolutely delicious.
Plus, you get to enjoy some truly unique dining experiences.

Is the room too small? What about motion sickness?
Since we planned to spend most of our time out and about enjoying the ship, we booked a windowless 'Deluxe Inside' stateroom.
As a family of three, we worried the room might feel a bit cramped and claustrophobic,
but with one fairly large bed and the sofa converted into a bed, we all slept incredibly comfortably.
And thanks to the split-bath configuration (where the toilet/sink and shower/sink are separate), we were able to use the space so much more efficiently.
Still, having no window does make a difference, so upgrading to a balcony room would probably be even better.. 😂
As for motion sickness, we didn't feel a thing!

Is it worth the money? Price Breakdown & Booking Tips
Before boarding the cruise, we spent 4 nights in a downtown Singapore hotel. Room rates were around ~$320 to ~$384 per night, and with Singapore's high cost of living, dining out was incredibly expensive too.
Plus, flights to Singapore have gotten so pricey lately... 😭
When you look at it that way, because the cruise is 'all-inclusive'—covering your accommodation, meals, and entertainment—it actually works out to be much more budget-friendly!
Now I finally understand why people say cruises offer amazing value for money.
We were all blown away thinking, "We get all this service for this price?" and completely fell in love with cruise travel.
Especially if you take advantage of the current Disney Cruise promotion on KKday, the value is unbeatable,
