I was surprised to be seated at the exact same table as my previous visit! The interior is incredibly spacious, offering a variety of seating options from traditional tables to cozy sofa booths.
Once seated, you order by scanning a QR code at your table and pay with Alipay. A staff member will then prepare your chosen tea.

For two people, we ordered all of these dishes, plus drinks, and the total came out to 231 CNY (approximately ~$33, based on the original 48,000 KRW equivalent).

3. Diandude Shanghai Xintiandi Dishes Reviewed
Red Rice Cheung Fun 6pcs: 44 CNY
Red Rice Cheung Fun is such a signature dish here that I highly recommend each person tries at least 3 pieces!
These rice noodle rolls are made with red rice and filled with crispy fried shrimp, then served with a savory peanut sauce. It's a universally delicious dish that everyone will love!
Shumai: 38 CNY
Topped with a plump shrimp, these Shumai look even more appetizing. The seafood filling was incredibly fresh and bouncy, offering a fantastic texture.
Xiaolongbao: 33 CNY
You can't go to China without having Xiaolongbao, right?
These soup dumplings are bursting with flavorful broth. The best way to enjoy them is to place one on your spoon, gently tear a small hole in the wrapper with your chopsticks to sip the savory soup, and then enjoy the dumpling!
Boiled Choy Sum: 38 CNY
Chinese cuisine truly excels at vegetable dishes. They're often served boiled or stir-fried, and this Choy Sum came perfectly blanched in a clear, light broth.
It was an excellent accompaniment to our dim sum and fried noodles, with a clean and perfectly balanced flavor.
Fried Noodles: 33 CNY
This was my first time ordering the Fried Noodles, and I'm so glad I did! It was a fantastic choice!
Imagine a delicious blend reminiscent of Nasi Goreng or oyster sauce stir-fried noodles. The noodles weren't too thick, and the crunch from the bean sprouts added a wonderful texture.
Fried Tofu: 33 CNY
I saw other tables enjoying this, so I decided to try it for the first time on this visit!
The exterior is wonderfully crispy, while the inside reveals an incredibly soft, silky tofu, almost like silken tofu. I think the batter might have had a hint of curry powder mixed in, giving it a subtle, delicious curry aroma!
Dipped in chili sauce, it was absolutely delightful.
Honestly, every Diandude dish we ordered was a success! If you're visiting with family or friends, I highly recommend trying all these options. They're sure to please everyone, including those with a Western palate.
