First off, this hotel boasts truly excellent accessibility and location.

It's situated just a 3-minute walk from where the airport shuttle drops you off, so you won't have to struggle with your luggage.

Plus, there's a Seven-Eleven on the way, and another convenience store just across the crosswalk, making snack runs incredibly easy.

As a well-known Japanese hotel chain, you can also expect a certain standard of reliable service.

While sometimes you can find rooms for as low as ~$73 per night, the average price ranges from ~$88 to ~$109.

2. Daiwa Roynet Hotel Check-in

The ground floor houses a restaurant, and check-in is located on the second floor.

The hotel is also divided into a main building and an annex.

I stayed in the annex.

With many floors and rooms, it doesn't seem to get fully booked often, but it's always a good idea to reserve in advance.

After checking in, remember to pick up your amenities.

These amenities are all gathered in one spot.

Everything from bath salts to toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even extra towels are available, so just grab what you need before heading up to your room.

I noticed that while there were plenty of bath salts in the morning, they were all gone by the afternoon.

Did you know that many Japanese hotels also provide disposable lotions as part of their amenities?

They often feature good brands like DHC, so if you happen to forget your cosmetics, you can simply use what's provided.

3. Daiwa Roynet Room Review

Now, let's take a look at the room. I was assigned a room on the 8th floor.

The room featured two beds, with enough extra space for what felt like a small additional cot.

Since I booked a slightly larger room, it felt spacious and comfortable, not at all cramped.

Japanese hotel bathrooms usually follow a pretty standard layout: a toilet and a compact bathtub. This one was no different.

While the bathroom wasn't huge, it was impeccably clean with no cracked sinks or dirty spots.

Overall, I felt the bathroom was very well-maintained.

When in Japan, I always feel like taking a relaxing half-bath. Thanks to the bath salts provided among the amenities, you can easily enjoy one here.

The outside view was a bit disappointing. It was a street view, but the window itself had bars, which unfortunately obstructed the visibility.

If clean rooms and excellent amenities are what you're looking for, then this hotel is a great choice.

And as I mentioned earlier, its accessibility is superb.

Matsuyama Castle is just a 7-minute walk away.

The airport shuttle stop is also within a 5-minute walk, which means you won't have to trek far with your luggage.

Plus, being right on the main road makes it incredibly easy to find.
