Discover Crosslife Hakata Tenjin, a top Fukuoka hotel for families. Enjoy spacious twin rooms, a relaxing public bath, and easy access to Canal City. Perfect for your 2026 trip!
For our 10th wedding anniversary, we embarked on a delightful 3-night, 4-day adventure to Fukuoka, Japan. We wanted a single, comfortable base for our entire trip, and we found the perfect spot: a hotel featuring a fantastic public bath for relaxing nightly soaks and surrounded by vibrant izakayas for exciting evening explorations. Let me introduce you to this gem of a Fukuoka hotel!

Even though Fukuoka is just about an hour's flight away, immigration can sometimes take a while. We ended up leaving the airport around 5 PM and hopped into a taxi.
📍 Crosslife Hakata Tenjin
3-chōme-26-30 Haruyoshi, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, 810-0003 Japan

The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel took approximately 25 minutes. A crucial tip: there's another hotel from the same brand, Crosslife Hakata Yanagibashi, so be sure to search specifically for Crosslife Hakata Tenjin to ensure you arrive at the correct location!

Conveniently located right across from the hotel is a well-stocked market. It's fantastic for grabbing bentos, onigiri, and pretty much any groceries you might need. We definitely stopped by a few times for snacks on the go!

The lobby offers an amenity box where you can freely take essentials like razors, toothbrushes, body towels, and cotton pads. While regular towels are in your room, for the large public bath, you'll need a bigger towel, which you can request separately at the front desk.

A major selling point for booking Crosslife Hakata Tenjin was the impressive size of its twin rooms. They're wonderfully spacious for a family of three, with generous beds and enough floor space to comfortably open up even a large 29-inch suitcase without feeling cramped.

The sofa and table by the window were perfect for enjoying convenience store treats and late-night beers – a true taste of Japanese travel! It also provided a great spot for our child to relax with their iPad, making our evenings in the room enjoyable for everyone.

The hotel boasts a fantastic public bath, which we made sure to use every single day! It's open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the morning and from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM in the evening. You can even check how crowded it is on your in-room TV, which is super convenient!

When heading to the public bath, remember to bring a towel from your room. For the women's bath, you'll need a password, which the front desk staff will provide. After three days of exploring, soaking in the public bath each evening felt incredible – it truly melted away any muscle tension. That's when I truly fell in love with Japanese communal bathing!

While Agoda often features competitive rates, you can secure the absolute best price, including breakfast, by applying a 5% Klook Japan hotel discount coupon. This is a fantastic way to save on your Fukuoka stay!

Keep in mind that children of preschool age can often stay free with two adults. So, make sure to set your search to '2 adults' when looking for prices to find the most accurate rates! I've even included the booking code in the comments for easy copying – happy booking!

While the in-room toilet and shower were a bit compact, we honestly didn't use the shower much since we enjoyed the spacious public bath every single evening.

The breakfast spread was fantastic! It included delicious grilled mackerel, fluffy rolled omelets (tamagoyaki), and savory mentaiko (spicy cod roe). Our child especially loved having rice with miso soup – it was a perfect, comforting start to our mornings.

They even offer a convenient takeout box for breakfast, which is ideal if you have an early morning flight or an early tour planned. It's a thoughtful touch for busy travelers!

From our room on the 7th floor, we had a decent view. The elevator mentioned nearby construction that might cause some noise, but honestly, we were out exploring most of the day, so we didn't notice a thing!

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Parco Department Store, which is connected to Tenjin Station. Even better, Canal City, famous for its impressive fountain show, is practically on your doorstep – just a 5-minute stroll! If Canal City is high on your list, this hotel offers an unbeatable location. If you're planning a trip to Fukuoka in late 2026, definitely look into Crosslife Hakata Tenjin! ↓↓↓
