then I saw this place right across the street and thought, "What's that??" — it really caught my eye.
I finally booked it last year during the Christmas market,
and it was absolutely fantastic!!
Cross Life Hakata Tenjin
It's perfectly situated right between Tenjin Underground Mall and Canal City,
so you can walk to both and rarely need a taxi.
Every morning, I popped into a nearby local supermarket,
and it's definitely cheaper than convenience stores.
After comparing three platforms,
Trip.com is currently the cheapest, and Agoda also has a flash deal running.

Cross Life Hakata Tenjin is
located at 3-26-30 Haruyoshi, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, Japan.
It's about a 5-7 minute walk from Tenjin-Minami Station,
and perfectly in the middle of Tenjin Underground Mall and Canal City.
One day you can explore Tenjin, the next Canal City,
and your walking routes won't overlap.
You'll hardly ever need a taxi!
There's an izakaya right across the street.
Ichiran Ramen is also within walking distance; as for me,
I'm definitely an Ichiran fan, haha!
There's a local supermarket nearby,
which is great for popping into every morning. It's definitely
cheaper than convenience stores, so it's perfect for buying drinks and snacks.
It's about 2,600-2,700 JPY by taxi from the airport.
We decided to 'buy time with money' and took a taxi! Haha.

Rooms & Facilities Guide
Being newly built, it's impeccably clean with no strange odors,
not a speck of dust anywhere.
The trendy and atmospheric interior is also perfect for taking photos.
The air conditioning is individually adjustable.
It's not a central system, so you can precisely set it to your desired temperature.
The outlet next to the bed includes both USB type and
220V types together, so you can charge your devices without a separate adapter.
It's super convenient!
With the smart TV, you can use Netflix,
and YouTube. A safe,
and an electric kettle are also provided.
Pajamas are replaced daily.
You can wear the pajamas and slippers when heading down to the public bath.
The room lighting is a bit dim.
Those who prefer bright lighting should keep this in mind.
Even if three people use the sofa bed type room,
the sofa bed is more comfortable than expected.
Contactless check-in and check-out are available.

Self-parking is 1,700 JPY per night (covered).

Even if you arrive late, you can use it until 1 AM, and
it's also great for a wash before heading out early in the morning.
A sauna is included.
It features a large screen displaying digital art,
creating a truly healing atmosphere.
When I went to the public bath, I noticed there were a lot of Koreans, haha!
You can move around wearing the pajamas and slippers.
Be sure to bring your own towel!
If you have small tattoos, you can use the bath by covering them with a sticker!

2nd Floor Amenities
An ice and water dispenser, microwave, and vending machines are available.
It's perfect for buying late-night snacks and heating them up in the microwave.

In case of rain, umbrellas are available at the entrance
for guests to borrow. It was raining when we visited, so we

luggage storage is available, and multilingual staff are on site.
