As a family of three, including our child, and traveling with four other families, we had a lot to consider: location, facilities, and dining options. This time, we opted for a room type that included Executive Lounge access. With our family frequently popping into the lounge for afternoon tea and happy hour, what initially seemed like a higher room rate quickly transformed into an incredible value for money! (Let's be real, Singapore is notoriously expensive, especially for luxury accommodations and, let's not forget, alcoholic beverages!)

Our Executive Room measured a generous 40 square meters (approximately 430 square feet), which felt incredibly spacious and comfortable, especially for a hotel in downtown Singapore.

The 31st-floor Executive Lounge was unanimously praised by our entire family. The expansive space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit back and feel completely relaxed. There are also plenty of comfortable, larger sofa seats, perfect for families.
If we had opted for afternoon tea and evening cocktails with dinner outside the hotel, our expenses would have skyrocketed. The all-day access to the lounge truly made our hotel stay feel like an incredible bargain, covering a significant portion of our dining and entertainment costs!
