Cassia Sokcho Review 2026: Family Fun, Ocean Views & Discount Tips

I've always dreamed of visiting Cassia Sokcho, but as a relatively new hotel, its prices were usually a bit steep for my budget. Honestly, it felt like a real splurge!

I once paid a premium to experience the breathtaking sunrise views, but this time, I managed to snag an incredible deal during a special promotion. It was such a fantastic price that I just had to share it with you all!

Every room at Cassia Sokcho boasts an incredible ocean view, perfect for catching breathtaking sunrises. Waking up to the sparkling 'yoonseul' (sunlight shimmering on the water) each morning is an incredibly refreshing start to the day.

Room Types

Cassia Sokcho offers a variety of room types, making it ideal for both families and couples. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a fun family vacation, there's a perfect space for you.

If you're traveling with kids, opting for a Family Club room grants you complimentary access to the exclusive Family Lounge – a real bonus for parents!

I stayed in a Premier King room, which is designed for two guests but can accommodate up to three. We found it perfectly comfortable for two adults and two children. The sofa in the Premier King room conveniently converts into a sofa bed, which we pushed right next to the main bed for extra sleeping space – perfect for families with little ones.

Prime Location

Cassia Sokcho boasts an excellent location, with both Daepho Port and Sokcho Beach just a short drive away. This proximity makes planning your itinerary incredibly convenient!

At Daepho Port, you can indulge in fresh crab, sashimi, and an array of other delicious seafood. Sokcho Beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll, enjoying a ride on the Ferris wheel, or simply unwinding by the sea.

There are surprisingly many great restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so you don't even need to venture far to find a fantastic meal, which was a huge plus.

And don't forget the Bosco Bar on the 23rd floor! It's an absolutely perfect spot for parents to grab a refreshing drink and enjoy a moment of peace after putting the kids to bed. Highly recommended! 👍

Breakfast Buffet

If you prefer to dine in, Cassia Sokcho's Vista restaurant offers a delightful breakfast buffet.

Swimming Pool

It was a chilly day when I visited, so I couldn't use the pool, but on warmer days, the view from the infinity-edge pool, seemingly blending into the ocean, must be absolutely stunning!

With indoor, outdoor, and even a dedicated kids' pool, it looks like a fantastic option for families.

One thing I noticed is that the atmosphere completely transforms during sunset. It becomes an incredibly picturesque spot, and it seems many guests time their visits specifically to capture those golden hour photos.

Just a heads-up: while the fitness center is complimentary, most other facilities, including the swimming pool, incur additional charges. I recommend confirming if pool access is included when you make your reservation.

Seeing the kids sleeping soundly at night, I knew bringing them here was the right decision.

While Cassia Sokcho certainly has its pros and cons, I'm incredibly satisfied that I finally got to experience this hotel I'd been longing to visit.
