When you think of iconic landmarks in Busan's Haeundae district, the LCT building probably springs to mind, right?

Perched on the 100th floor of this impressive structure, the X The Sky Busan observatory has quickly become a must-visit spot in Busan. And honestly, with its jaw-dropping panoramic views of Haeundae Beach, the majestic Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and even the distant Oryukdo Islands, it's easy to see why!

Today, I'm excited to share all the essential details and my personal experience visiting the Haeundae LCT Observatory!💕

Being just a short stroll from Haeundae Beach, it's the perfect addition to your Busan itinerary.

X The Sky Busan Observatory was even selected as one of the 'Korea Tourism 100' for 2025-2026, marking it as one of the top places Koreans recommend for visitors. That's why it's consistently ranked among the best places to visit in Busan!

During my visit, I saw so many international travelers enjoying the expansive views of Haeundae. It truly is a global attraction!😄

I made sure to visit around sunset to capture the spectacular X The Sky nightscape. It was absolutely unforgettable!

After grabbing our tickets, we hopped into the elevator and ascended to the 100th floor in less than a minute! The ride up features a hot air balloon-themed media art display, while the descent transforms into a submarine theme, making the brief journey even more captivating. My child was absolutely amazed, exclaiming, "Are we already on the 100th floor?!"

The view of Haeundae from the 100th floor was absolutely spectacular. I only wished for slightly clearer weather to have enjoyed an even more vivid and azure ocean panorama stretching beneath us.

Beyond the beach, looking towards Dalmaji Hill, you'll see charming villas nestled together, offering a completely different, quaint appeal.

Throughout the observatory, there are various photo zones, ensuring you can capture fantastic memories of your Busan trip from any angle.

Honestly, I was a bit worried my child might be scared of the 100-story height, but my fears were completely unfounded!🤣 They were utterly fascinated and had a blast!

Don't miss the stunning media art display, synchronized with music, located between the 98th and 99th floors. It's captivating from both levels!

Dining at X The Sky

There are two fantastic dining options at Busan X The Sky.

First, there's the elegant Sky 99 Restaurant, specializing in pasta and steak – perfect for a romantic date night or a special occasion.

I, however, opted for the X The Sky Lounge with my child, which offers a more casual menu. Here, you can find simple yet delicious Korean snacks like hot dogs, 'sotteok sotteok' (skewered sausage and rice cake), Busan fish cakes, 'pajeon' (savory Korean pancake), and even 'makgeolli' (Korean rice wine). While the prices might be a tad higher than usual, the sheer value of enjoying these treats with a 99th-floor view of Haeundae makes it absolutely worth it!

Cafes at X The Sky

Beyond the restaurants, you'll also find some incredible cafes. There's the Starbucks on the 99th floor, rumored to be one of the highest Starbucks locations in the world, and Dal.komm Coffee, which offers popcorn and signature observatory drinks that kids adore. These spots are perfect for a relaxed coffee break while soaking in those magnificent views.

During my visit, there was also an X The Sky Flea Market happening, which was a fun little bonus to browse through.

As you exit the observatory, make sure to check out the Muse with Lenticular Exhibition. This display of classic artworks rendered in mesmerizing holograms truly captured my child's attention, and even as an adult, I found it incredibly cool!

Experiencing Busan from 100 stories high is truly an unforgettable adventure! The Haeundae LCT Observatory is definitely one of the top attractions for anyone visiting Busan. It offers a unique vantage point to take in both the expansive ocean and the vibrant city skyline all at once.

With numerous photo zones scattered throughout, it's easy to snap some amazing pictures to remember your trip. The views of Haeundae Beach and Gwangandaegyo Bridge from the LCT Observatory are far more breathtaking in person than any photo can capture.
