On the day I visited, many international tourists were also enjoying the expansive views of Haeundae!😄

I made sure to visit around sunset, capturing the stunning X the Sky night views in all their glory!

After getting our tickets, we hopped into the elevator and reached the 100th floor in less than a minute! The ascent featured a hot-air balloon themed media art, while the descent showcased a submarine theme. This made the ride feel even shorter, and my child was absolutely amazed, asking if we had really arrived at the 100th floor already.

My Visit to Haeundae LCT Observatory

The view of Haeundae from the 100th floor was spectacular. I imagine if the weather had been a little clearer, the Haeundae sea stretching below would have appeared even more vivid and blue.

Beyond the beach, towards Dalmaji Hill, charming villas clustered together, offering a unique and different kind of beauty.

There are numerous photo zones scattered throughout the observatory, perfect for capturing wonderful memories of your Busan trip.

Honestly, I was a bit worried my child might be scared of the 100-story height, but my fears were unfounded!🤣 They found it incredibly fascinating and fun!

Don't miss the captivating media art installation between the 98th and 99th floors, synchronized with music! It's equally impressive whether you view it from the 98th or 99th floor.

X the Sky Dining Options

Busan X the Sky offers two dining experiences. One is the elegant Sky 99 Restaurant, and the other is the more casual X the Sky Lounge. Sky 99 Restaurant specializes in pasta and steak, making it an ideal choice for a romantic date.

I opted for the X the Sky Lounge, which is perfect for a light meal with kids. Here, you can enjoy simple local snacks like hot bar (fish cake skewers), sot-tteok-sot-tteok (sausage and rice cake skewers), Busan eomuk (fish cakes), pajeon (savory pancake), and makgeolli (rice wine). While the prices are a bit higher than what you'd find elsewhere, the unique experience of dining with an incredible Haeundae view from the 99th floor makes it absolutely worthwhile.

X the Sky Cafes

In addition to the restaurants, there are also delightful cafes. You'll find the 99th-floor Busan LCT Starbucks, renowned as one of the highest Starbucks in the world, and Dalkomm Coffee, which offers popcorn (a hit with the kids!) and signature observatory drinks. These are perfect spots to enjoy a light refreshment while soaking in the magnificent views.

Currently, the X the Sky Flea Market is ongoing, offering a fun opportunity to browse unique local goods.

As you exit the observatory, you'll also find the Muse with Lenticular Exhibition. I highly recommend checking it out! The holographic masterpieces captivated my child's attention, and even as an adult, I found them incredibly intriguing!

Looking down on Busan from 100 stories high is an experience like no other! The Haeundae LCT Observatory is truly one of Busan's must-visit attractions, offering sweeping views of both the expansive ocean and the dazzling cityscape.

With thoughtfully designed photo zones throughout, I was able to capture fantastic memories of my Busan trip. The scenery of Haeundae and Gwangandaegyo Bridge from the LCT Observatory was even more breathtaking and moving than in photos.
