The Way Hotel Busan Station Review 2026: Affordable & Convenient?

When preparing for a trip to Busan (부산), one thing that often gives travelers pause is probably accommodation.

Especially when looking for a place to stay near Busan Station (부산역), the prices can vary wildly, making it hard to decide where to book.

I had to book on short notice that day, so I just went for a cheap option, thinking it would be fine as long as I could sleep, even if it was a bit uncomfortable.

But this Busan Station accommodation was so comfortable, I didn't experience any inconvenience and was really satisfied!

Today, I'll share my review of The Way Hotel (더웨이호텔), where I stayed :)

1. Right Across from Busan Station: An Accommodation with Great Accessibility

In Busan travel, the location of your accommodation is key, right?

Especially if you're traveling by train or carrying luggage, staying close to the station is much more convenient!

The Way Hotel is **directly opposite Busan Station**, making it super easy to find.

For those planning their travel itinerary around Busan Station, I believe this accommodation will be very satisfying in terms of location.

Plus, there's a Daiso (다이소) and Olive Young (올리브영) nearby, which was really convenient when I needed to quickly buy something essential.

When you're traveling, don't you sometimes forget to pack something or suddenly need an item? :)

I actually hadn't planned on staying overnight, so I didn't pack any foam cleanser. But thanks to the Olive Young nearby, I could easily buy some.

2. The Lobby

After checking in at the lobby and looking around, I noticed a self-service coffee machine, a water dispenser, and a microwave, which seemed convenient to use if needed.

We even made coffee on our way out the next day, and it was surprisingly good – no need to go to a cafe! Haha.

I think these little services really contribute to the overall impression of a hotel!

3. Affordable, but Clean and Pleasant Rooms – My Worries Vanished!

This time, I didn't book in advance; I urgently reserved a room on the same day.

Actually, we had just stopped by Busan for a day trip and were exploring our favorite neighborhood, Choryang (초량), where there was a local pub we had earmarked a long time ago...

After one makgeolli, then two, we decided it would be easier to just eat, drink, and head home the next day, so we booked a room :)

Anyway, since it was a Sunday evening, luckily there were still rooms available. We even applied a discount coupon and were able to book a room in the ₩30,000s (~$23)! ^^

The room I used was a standard room, specifically the **Walking Discount Non-Smoking Room**.

There have been times when I worried about the room condition because of the low price, but this time, contrary to my concerns, I had a comfortable stay.

More than anything, even if an accommodation is just a place to sleep, I believe it should fundamentally be clean and comfortable!

In that regard, I felt this Busan Station accommodation was a good choice.

4. What was the Booking Price for The Way Hotel?

We booked on the same day and applied a discount coupon, getting the room for around ₩30,000 (~$23).

Later, I checked again, and the Walking Discount rooms usually go for about ₩40,000 (~$30).

Even at ₩40,000 (~$30), I still think it offers **great value compared to other accommodations, especially considering it's right in front of Busan Station.**

However, accommodation fees can vary depending on the booking date, room availability, and whether discount coupons are applied, so

I recommend checking directly before booking! ^^

5. Room Condition

The bedding was generally clean,

and the bathroom, in particular, was cleaner than I expected!

Usually, if these kinds of accommodations don't pay enough attention to maintenance,

limescale builds up everywhere, and with the humidity,

you often find a surprising amount of mold.

But here, the bathroom was cleaner than I expected,

so I could use it comfortably :)

Two bottles of water are provided as standard,

but if you need more, there's a water dispenser in the lobby,

so feel free to use it! ^^

And basic amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors

are also provided!

In the bathroom, there was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash,

and in the bedroom, there was toner and lotion.

Usually, even when I stay at accommodations, I never use the toner and lotion

because they smell strange, but the toner and lotion

at The Way Hotel were refreshing and comfortable to use :)

6. Luggage Storage Service

And looking at the entrance,

it seems they also offer a luggage storage service!

When we visited, it seemed like many foreign tourists

were staying there, and perhaps because there are so many tourists,

they also have a luggage storage service~

Isn't the name of the luggage storage area so cute? Haha.

It was written in dialect as 'Nattuso (나뚜소)',

which was really adorable, hehe.

You can think of it as meaning 'Please put it down' :)

7. Conclusion

What I liked most about The Way Hotel,

which I used this time, was its accessibility, being

directly opposite Busan Station.

On top of that, it offers great value for money,

the rooms are clean and comfortable,

and the owner was very friendly, so I had a pleasant and relaxing stay :)
