Browndot Hotel Busan Station Review 2026: A Perfect Solo Stay
Searching for the best solo hotel near Busan Station? My stay at Browndot Hotel offered spacious rooms, a relaxing bath, Netflix, and unbeatable value.
Busan Station Hotel Recommendation: My Review of Brown Dot Hotel – A Solo Traveler's Top Pick for Great Value, Definitely Rebooking!

Looking for a solo stay near Busan Station, I was debating
between Toyoko Inn and Brown Dot Hotel,
which were among the most recommended options.
Toyoko Inn was a bit closer to Busan Station,
and many reviews praised its delicious free breakfast,
but when I tried to book, their single rooms were all sold out...
So I compared it with an Economy Double room,
and Brown Dot Hotel Busan Station was slightly cheaper,
with rooms that looked more spacious, so it became my final choice!!
To cut to the chase, the room was not only spacious and clean,
but also equipped with a bathtub, shower, and even Netflix,
making it a truly comfortable stay for a solo traveler.
The next time I'm looking for a hotel near Busan Station,
I'm definitely planning to book here again!

Toyoko Inn vs. Brown Dot Hotel: A Comparison

looking at everything from price and rooms to breakfast!
I compared both hotels based on rooms that can accommodate two people!

If a location right in front of Busan Station and free breakfast are important to you, I'd recommend Toyoko Inn. But if you prefer a spacious and pleasant room at a slightly more reasonable price, like I do, then Brown Dot Hotel is the way to go!

I booked the special walking-distance plan for 2 adults, with no parking allowed,
and after the discount, I paid ~$44 for one night.
If you're looking for accommodation near Busan Station without a car,
be sure to check if there are special rate rooms like this!

The lobby also had a luggage storage area for guests.
However, it's only available for checked-in guests,
and the notice states it cannot be used after check-out,
so if you need luggage storage, please confirm in advance!

Since early check-in wasn't possible,
I left my bags and came for lunch.
Right next to the hotel is 'Jeongjitgan,' a
Michelin-recommended pork soup restaurant, making it easy to grab a meal!
Spacious and Spotless Room

At 3 PM, I got my room key and headed up!
My assigned room was 702.

After getting my card key and entering the room,
unlike my low expectations due to the affordable price,
I was surprised by how spacious the room was!!

Since it's a room that can accommodate up to two people,
it was quite roomy for a solo traveler.
The bedding was also clean and super fluffy.

Even with my carry-on suitcase open,
there was still plenty of room to move around,
and it didn't feel cramped even with my shopping bags spread out.

Next to the bed, there was also a long sofa and a table,
which was convenient for placing luggage or having a quick meal.
The window could also be opened,
so I could immediately air out the room if it ever felt stuffy.

What exceeded my expectations the most
was how incredibly clean the entire room was!
Honestly, since the price was so affordable,
I didn't have high hopes for the cleanliness,
but everything from the bedding to the floor and furniture
was meticulously maintained and spotless haha.
The bed was also spacious and comfortable for one person,
and the bedding was so fresh that I had a wonderfully relaxing rest :)
Bathtub · Shower Room · Netflix

Just as impressive as the room was the bathroom!
The bathroom itself was spacious,
and with the bathtub and shower separated,
it was incredibly convenient to use.

I honestly didn't expect to find a bathroom
of this size in an affordable business hotel near Busan Station,
which made it even more satisfying!

Towels and basic bathroom amenities were also
neatly prepared,
and disposable items were well-stocked.

A bathrobe was also provided,
so I could comfortably wear it like pajamas.
With so many items you don't need to pack separately,
it's absolutely perfect for a light solo trip to Busan
or even as accommodation for a business trip, don't you think?

Opposite the bed, there's a TV,
with a large screen, and Netflix and YouTube
were actually available to use.
In the evening, I relaxed in bed watching Netflix,
and being able to enjoy it comfortably in the room without going out
meant I wasn't bored at all during my solo stay haha.
The Wi-Fi was also super strong, so no issues getting work done either!

Breakfast and Facilities

Breakfast is ~$15 per person
Brown Dot Hotel Busan Station offers
breakfast, which you can also enjoy!
I unfortunately missed it due to oversleeping,
but I checked reviews, and many people said it was pretty good.
If complimentary breakfast is important to you, Toyoko Inn might be a better choice,
but if a spacious room and bathroom are more important than breakfast,
then Brown Dot Hotel seems like a perfect fit.

Next to the breakfast restaurant on the 9th floor, there's even an outdoor garden!
The terrace was immaculately maintained,
making it a lovely spot to sit on a nice day!

While the hotel does have a parking lot,
the special walking-distance rate room I booked
did not include parking.
If you plan on bringing a car,
please make sure to check if parking is included
in the room package you're booking!
Overall Verdict

Close to Busan Station and
a budget-friendly accommodation perfect for a comfortable solo stay!
The room and bathroom conditions were highly satisfying for the price,
so I'm definitely planning to revisit on my next trip to Busan!
If you're looking for a hotel near Busan Station, a budget-friendly gem,
I highly recommend Brown Dot Hotel!
