Why I Chose to Depart from Mipo
I opted for the Sky Capsule departing from Mipo.
As the ocean stretched out endlessly before me, I couldn't stop taking pictures!
At first, I wondered if the slow speed would feel a bit tedious, but once I was on board, I realized it was actually perfect. That leisurely pace allowed me to truly soak in the ocean views and capture countless photos without feeling rushed.
Don't Just Turn Back from Cheongsapo!
Arriving in Cheongsapo, my decision to not immediately head back was one of the best choices I made. If you're there around dinner time, you can enjoy a hearty meal of grilled clams. If it's daytime, a refreshing matcha bingsu makes for a perfect stop!
If I had just ridden the Sky Capsule and turned right back, I think I would have felt a little disappointed. Spending some time in Cheongsapo truly enriched the entire trip. If your schedule allows, I highly recommend staying in Cheongsapo for at least an hour or more!
Returning on the Beach Train: A Must!
I took the Sky Capsule on the way there and the Beach Train for the return journey.
Even though both travel along the same coastline, the atmosphere is completely different, isn't it?
The Sky Capsule offers a view of the sea from a higher vantage point, while the Beach Train provides the fun of moving right along the ocean, seeing it up close. Experiencing both was far more satisfying than taking the Sky Capsule round trip.
