The signature menu item is the Beauty Seafood Platter Set (미녀 해물장 정식), which I ordered. For two people, this set costs approximately ~$54. Other popular options include the Mipojip Special Platter, starting around ~$61 for two, and individual marinated platters like Abalone, Shrimp, or Salmon, each priced at about ~$27. If you prefer a hearty stew, their Braised Hairtail starts around ~$40 for a medium portion.
My Mipojip Gwangalli Experience
Inside Mipojip Gwangalli Branch

Mipojip Gwangalli is located on the second floor of the building that houses Olive Young in Gwangalli.

Being on the second floor means you get to enjoy breathtaking panoramic ocean views of Gwangalli Beach and the iconic Gwangandaegyo Bridge right from your table. It's truly spectacular!
The interior boasts a clean, sophisticated wood-toned design, creating an inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a romantic date night or a memorable meal with family, even your parents.

They offer a variety of seating options, from cozy tables for two or four to larger group seating, making it suitable for any party size.

You can get a better feel for the overall interior vibe by checking out the video. I visited around 11:00 AM, and by noon, the restaurant was almost completely full – a testament to its popularity!

They even have high chairs available for little ones, and a very important detail for any traveler: the restrooms are impeccably clean! Haha.

I noticed they had menus available in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese. It's clear this spot is a hit with international visitors.

Even famous actress Fan Bingbing has graced Mipojip with her presence!
My Mipojip Gwangalli Experience
Here it is: the stunning Beauty Seafood Platter Set I ordered! (We got the 2-person portion, which was ~$54). Isn't the presentation just incredible? 🤤
What's in the Mipojip Beauty Seafood Platter?

• A lavish spread of 8 different seafood delights: female crab, abalone, octopus, shrimp, salmon, scallops, and sea snails.
• A pristine array of traditional Korean side dishes, alongside a steaming stone pot of rice and a comforting bowl of seaweed soup.
Talk about an abundant and satisfying meal!!

The side dishes were also beautifully arranged and tasted wonderfully fresh.

Every piece of seafood was delicious, but I have to say, the octopus was especially tender and incredibly flavorful.

There was a guide on how to best enjoy the Beauty Seafood Platter, and following their recommendations truly elevated the experience – absolutely delicious!!!
The soy sauce marinade for the seafood was also exceptional.

Often, these types of marinated seafood dishes can be overly salty or have a strong fishy odor, but Mipojip's version was perfectly balanced – not too salty, very clean, and packed with umami flavor.

To finish off the meal, we enjoyed a warm bowl of *soongnyung* (scorched rice tea), which was a wonderfully refreshing and clean way to conclude such a rich meal.
>My Final Thoughts on Mipojip Gwangalli, Busan<
Enjoying a fantastic meal with that incredible Gwangalli view, followed by a leisurely stroll along the beach, made for a truly perfect day.
If you're looking for a special dining experience in Busan, or searching for a top-notch seafood restaurant in Gwangalli, I wholeheartedly recommend Mipojip Gwangalli Branch.
