While the hotel's underground parking is limited, we were advised to use the parking lot at:

Gwangalli Eonyang Bulgogi Busan House (the one near the back entrance)

Since our itinerary didn't involve much time in the room, we opted for the most affordable city-view room.

Amenities included an LP player, hairdryer, kettle, refrigerator, bottled water, wine glasses, ice bucket, incense sticks, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, cotton swabs, and refillable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The room had a hip yet calm and cozy vibe. From the bathroom tiles to the chairs, lighting, and even the red towels, it felt like every trendy detail had been carefully considered.

I loved that the sink, toilet, and shower areas were separated. The water pressure was fantastic, which is always a plus, and the quality of the bedding and amenities was excellent.

My only minor complaint was a slight 'new building' smell, but it wasn't overwhelming, and my husband didn't notice it at all.

Keep in mind that the rooms might feel a bit smaller than they appear in photos, and they aren't designed for a super private or luxurious feel. The real magic of Afterchapter Hotel lies in its incredible facilities!

Many hotels charge extra or limit pool access, but Afterchapter Hotel offers free, unlimited use of its rooftop pool. It was wonderful to enjoy without any restrictions!

There are no strict rules about swim caps or goggles, and sunbeds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Remember to bring your beach towel from your room!

We just brought ourselves, but we saw others enjoying beer and fruit, so it seems outside food and drinks are allowed. The view is absolutely stunning, especially when the Gwangandaegyo Bridge lights up after sunset.

Even though it was a one-night stay, having unlimited access meant we could swim morning and evening, making it feel like a two-night getaway. The beach is great, but nothing beats a good pool for a refreshing dip!

It was high season, so the pool was quite busy, and I didn't get my 'life shot,' but when it's less crowded, it's definitely a picture-perfect spot.

Meditation Room

One of the most impressive features at Afterchapter Hotel Gwangalli was their meditation room. It operates on a private reservation system, allowing only one group to use it per time slot.

Here, you can enjoy a half-body bath and meditate while surrounded by your chosen aroma. The sound of water combined with your favorite scent creates a truly healing experience. It felt as good as a high-end hotel sauna!

You can't pre-book this room; reservations are made upon check-in. So, if you have a specific time in mind, make sure to secure it quickly!

This is a signature program unique to Afterchapter, and I highly recommend experiencing it. It truly makes you forget any minor disappointments with the room conditions!

I'm usually someone who sleeps in and often skips hotel breakfast, but the generous hours until 10:30 AM were perfect!

The American-style breakfast offered something for everyone. For drinks, you could choose between juice, Americano coffee, or milk.

It was so much more delicious than most brunch spots! I only intended to have a taste, but ended up finishing everything.

For an amazing value staycation with a pool in Busan,

Afterchapter Hotel Gwangalli is the place to be.

I was extremely satisfied with the pool, meditation room, breakfast, and location. While the room conditions were a minor drawback, they certainly didn't feel inadequate for the price point (around ~$77 per night, as mentioned by the original author).

Compared to 5-star hotels like Park Hyatt or Paradise, the room quality might seem less luxurious. However, considering the value for money, I personally felt Afterchapter offered a more satisfying experience.

If you're looking for an affordable Busan hotel with a pool, I highly recommend the Afterchapter Hotel for a stress-free and enjoyable getaway.
