In fact, Daejeo Ecological Park is quite vast.

However, if you're just focusing on the pampas grass colony,

it's actually quite modest in size.

If you plan to enjoy both pampas grass and pink muhly in autumn,

you'll need to expand your scope a bit.

For pink muhly,

you'll need to use P3 or P2,

and if you're planning a picnic, those areas are much better.

If you're like us, visiting with children and a full picnic seems too much,

then using the P4 parking lot and taking a short walk

can actually be an advantage.

please remember not to carelessly break the plants

or venture too deeply into the fields.

If you feel it's a shame to only see the pampas grass and head back,

there's also the option to include the beautiful pink muhly grass!

Just a heads-up, Daejeo Ecological Park is incredibly vast, so

walking from the pampas grass fields to the pink muhly fields

can take quite a bit of time on foot.

So, if you're traveling with little ones,

consider a route like: Pampas Grass → Drive → Pink Muhly.

Splitting up your parking spots like this can be a smart strategy.

If your child isn't a big fan of long walks, like ours,

this approach is definitely more realistic!

From my visit yesterday, I noticed that

the pampas grass and pink muhly seem to have slightly different blooming seasons.

So, while it's definitely possible to enjoy both at the same time,

the pampas grass, with its beautiful ivory hue, is absolutely perfect right now!

Of course, if you aim for peak bloom for both,

you might find yourself visiting Daejeo Ecological Park twice.
