I thought it was just for seminars, but it turned out to be perfect for a family trip?
Usually, places well-known as Busan (부산) workshop hotels or group seminar accommodations have a strong business feel, making you wonder if they might be a bit too stiff or formal for a family trip, right? I certainly did!
While looking for accommodation for a family gathering and a Busan trip, I was recommended the **Central Seven Hotel by Kwon Busan Seomyeon (센트럴 세븐호텔 by kwon 부산서면)**, located right in front of Bujeon Station (부전역), by an acquaintance. My initial skepticism completely turned around!

While many visitors were there for business, it was also a cost-effective accommodation with an excellent location for families like ours to comfortably enjoy Seomyeon (서면) and Bujeon Market (부전시장)!

This hotel is highly recommended for those coming for a large family trip and wanting to truly experience the local side of Busan.

Room Details and Honest Review – Plenty for a Family Trip
If practicality and comfort are your priorities over luxury when choosing a hotel, then you'll likely be very satisfied.

While it didn't have the elegant, spacious lobby of a 5-star hotel, it was cleanliness and simplicity personified, without any unnecessary frills!
After exploring Seomyeon Jeonpo Cafe Street (서면 전포 카페거리) and enjoying some delicious food, we checked in at 3:00 PM. The underground parking lot had plenty of space, and parking is free for guests!
While checking in on the first floor, they gave us a can of beer as a welcome gift! ^^ It seemed perfect for an evening drink tonight.

Right as we entered the room, we saw this sofa and table,
where we could comfortably chat and relax.

I actually had a little bit of work to do during our stay,
and having a table right in the room made it super easy to get things done at my own pace.

And since this trip was also a family gathering,
we really needed a space where we could all gather and chat comfortably.

The sofa and table were also spacious enough that it was perfect for grabbing some delicious snacks from the nearby Bujeon Market (부전시장), spreading them out, and having a great chat.
< Shared Laundry Room, Ice Dispenser >

On the 10th floor, you'll find a shared laundry room, an ice dispenser, and a water purifier,
which made everything so incredibly convenient!

If your clothes get wrinkled in your suitcase during your travels,
or if you need to use a washing machine for a longer stay,
you can handle everything right inside the hotel! No need to wander around looking for a laundromat outside.
Snack Tour at Bujeon Market and a Healing Stroll at Busan Citizens Park (부산시민공원)
I actually got this accommodation recommended through my company, which had used it for a seminar,
so I already had a feeling it would be amazing value for money!
But beyond just being excellent value, the absolute biggest charm of this place was right
here!

Right in front of the **Central Seven Hotel by Kwon Busan Seomyeon (센트럴 세븐호텔 by kwon 부산서면)** was Bujeon Market, Busan's largest market.
And Bujeon Station (부전역), also right in front, is where the Donghae Line (동해남부선) runs,
making it an incredibly convenient location even for parents living in other regions to visit.

After checking in, my family and I headed out to explore the market.
As we walked around the market, we checked out famous Myeongnan Gimbap shops, Tteokgalbi restaurants,
and smoked duck eateries.
It had been a while since we bought tteok (rice cakes) and kkwabaegi (twisted donuts) from a market tteok shop,
so we grabbed some and had a street food mukbang.
(We bought the famous gimbap, tteokgalbi, and smoked duck the next day after checkout
to take home, and they made for a delicious dinner that evening.)

After eating our fill, we headed out from our accommodation again.
Busan Citizens Park (부산시민공원) was just a 10-minute walk away!
The weather was perfect that day, so the whole family went for an evening stroll together.

It wasn't just about staying at the hotel; there were so many places to visit around
Busan that made our trip even better.
It was truly the perfect family accommodation with an unbeatable location.
Seminar Room and Hearty 17th-Floor Breakfast
This place is originally popular as a Busan workshop hotel and accommodation for group seminars.
We politely asked the front desk and got a peek at the event facilities.

Meeting Room Orchid (미팅룸 오키드) has a total capacity of 100 seats.
It was configured with a round-table meeting room and a school-style seminar room.

The spacious and comfortable seminar rooms and banquet facilities were meticulously organized,
so I thought it would be a great recommendation for company workshops, large family events,
or group gatherings like a 70th birthday celebration in the future,
especially as a well-located accommodation near Bujeon Station (부전역).

And the next morning, we headed up to the 17th floor for breakfast.
Wow! The natural light was fantastic, and many people were enjoying their breakfast.

You can start your day with a satisfying breakfast featuring neat and clean dishes,
that's for sure.
Later, during lunch hours, it's also set to operate as a Korean ssam-bap buffet called Madang (마당),
that's what I heard.

With its great location and comfort, making it perfect for visiting with elders,
this hotel is so welcoming that I thought it would be lovely to have lunch here and then stay overnight.

Concluding Thoughts
While Central Seven Hotel by Kwon Busan Seomyeon (센트럴세븐 호텔 by kwon 부산서면) was excellent for business trips or corporate events and even as a workshop hotel in Busan (부산),
