Planning a Busan getaway? Our review of the Aquapalace Hotel's Ocean Bridge Family Twin Room reveals stunning Gwangandaegyo Bridge views and a prime spot on Gwangalli Beach.
While planning a long-awaited trip to Busan,
I stumbled upon a place close to the beach:
Busan Aquapalace Hotel!
I got to fully immerse myself in the ocean views from Gwangalli Beach 🏖
Let me tell you all about my experience right away! 😊

📍Location & First Impression
It's located right in front of Busan's Gwangalli Beach,
so the location is absolutely unbeatable! 🏝
With the Gwangandaegyo Bridge view right before my eyes,
my excitement was huge even before check-in! 💖
The hotel entrance is cozier than I expected, but the friendly staff's
warm welcome made for a great first impression! 👍
Rooms 🛏
Ocean Bridge Family Twin Room

The room I chose was an Ocean View Room, and as soon as I stepped in,
the magnificent Gwangandaegyo Bridge instantly filled the huge window!
I kept exclaiming, "Wow!" over and over! 😆
I loved how spacious the bed was,
and while the bedding felt a bit firm, its cleanliness was satisfying 🛏✨

However, since the building is a bit older,
some of the furniture and facilities felt a bit dated. 😕
I thought it would be even better
if it received more meticulous care!

The view truly was the best!
While the Gwangandaegyo Bridge was stunning during the day,
it was even more beautiful at night 🌉✨
Coincidentally, there was a drone show scheduled,
so enjoying the night view with a drink from my room,
I didn't even need any snacks! Haha!

Toothbrushes and toothpaste are available for purchase at the hotel lobby,
while shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided.
However, there was a drainage smell coming from the bathroom,
so I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to smells.
Pool & Spa

Aquapalace is renowned for its pool and spa as much as its views, isn't it?
With Gwangalli Beach right in front,
you can enjoy splashing in the water with ocean views
and even capture some amazing life-shot photos! 📸
Using seawater hot spring water that gushes up from 815m underground,
it's a year-round heated pool, so you can use it anytime! 🏖

The hotel's internal spa facilities are well-equipped,
perfect for unwinding from travel fatigue by enjoying a jjimjilbang experience and hot springs!
However, unfortunately, on the day I visited, it was under maintenance,
so I couldn't use it 😭😭😭
Breakfast Buffet 🍽
Operating Hours: 07:30 ~ 09:30

You can enjoy breakfast on the 2nd floor 🍴

True to its reputation as a 'view restaurant,' the ambiance was truly wonderful as I got to admire Gwangandaegyo Bridge while having breakfast.

Overall, it was very clean and tidy.

However, the buffet selection wasn't as extensive as I had expected.

Just some bread, yogurt, and salad – simple options for a light bite.

And for a sweet finish, there were fruits and desserts.

The coffee and juice were decent, nothing extraordinary ☕️🍹

The omelet and scrambled eggs, freshly prepared by the chef,
were soft and delicious.

While the overall menu wasn't extensive,
I was very satisfied because I could enjoy a relaxed meal with such a fantastic view. 😊
Overall Thoughts 🏖
If you're looking to fully immerse yourself in the ocean views and vibe of Gwangalli,
Aquapalace is truly captivating! 🏞
However, I felt that some of the furniture and facilities in the rooms
felt a bit dated, and the breakfast buffet seemed a little overpriced for what it offered.
Nevertheless, considering the view, location, and overall value for money,
Aquapalace is still a highly recommendable hotel in Gwangalli.
If you're looking for a relaxing escape with stunning ocean views, do consider visiting Aquapalace! 😊
