As I embarked on my first trip to Boracay this year,

one of the biggest dilemmas I faced was undoubtedly choosing the perfect accommodation location.

Should I stay somewhere close to the vibrant White Beach,

or would I prefer a place a little further away, offering peace and quiet,

where I could fully unwind and enjoy everything the resort had to offer?

After much deliberation, right up until a week before my departure, I finally chose this gem:

'Fairways & Bluewater Resort,' where you can even enjoy a golf round in Boracay!

For a first-time trip to Boracay, it's natural to meticulously check the location, swimming pools,

and room conditions. I chose Fairways Resort, a massive property with over 850 rooms,

featuring beautifully maintained tropical gardens depending on the room type,

and an 18-hole golf course perfect for a round of golf.

a diverse array of facilities awaits. It felt less like just a place to sleep and more like a vibrant destination where you could

easily spend an entire day within the resort without a moment of boredom!

The grounds are so incredibly vast that if you arrive expecting a typical Boracay hotel,

you'll be utterly amazed by its sheer scale. Within the resort, you'll find numerous accommodation blocks, swimming pools, a private beach,

a golf course, and various restaurants, making it feel like a charming, self-contained holiday destination.

Especially if you're looking for Boracay accommodation recommendations

and envisioning refreshing water fun in the tropical heat,

this place is definitely one to consider! It boasts not only a private beach but also a grand total of six swimming pools, thoughtfully divided into different zones.

This allows guests to choose the perfect pool to match their desired vibe. Additionally, a convenient shuttle operates throughout the resort,

making navigation surprisingly easy despite its impressive size.

Of course, it's fair to mention that the facilities themselves aren't entirely state-of-the-art,

and some rooms might show a bit of age. However, when you consider the expansive grounds, the diverse array of amenities,

and the relatively reasonable pricing,

I truly believe it's a fantastic option for anyone looking for a great value Boracay resort.

From the very entrance, you'll feel a distinctly different ambiance compared to other Boracay hotels.

Given the sheer expanse of the grounds, a shuttle bus operates right from the entrance,

and the resort is so incredibly large that you'll need to take an internal shuttle just to reach the lobby!

The room I booked was a Premier room.

Standard occupancy: 2 people / Maximum occupancy: 4 people (including 2 children).

You can choose between 1 King bed or 2 Double beds.

At Boracay's Fairways & Bluewater Resort,

the included benefits can vary depending on your room reservation option.

When I booked during the off-peak season,

I secured a reservation for ~$43, including breakfast for two people.

Beyond just breakfast, I could also freely access the resort's diverse amenities, including multiple swimming pools, fitness facilities, a sauna,

and a gym. It was truly ideal for enjoying a leisurely and relaxing escape right within the accommodation.

Especially with its golf course and private beach, I didn't feel the need to frequently venture outside the resort,

allowing me to fully embrace a luxurious Boracay 'Hocance' (hotel vacation).

This made it an accommodation that delivered not only excellent value for money but also a truly rejuvenating holiday experience!

We kicked off our check-in with a refreshing welcome drink,

setting a lovely tone for our stay.

The check-in process itself was quite smooth and comfortable,

and the staff even brought our luggage directly to our room,

making a fantastic first impression with their outstanding friendly service.

Premier Room

Rooms where an extra crib can be requested

The room I stayed in featured two queen-sized beds,

which was incredibly spacious for two people.

The room size was remarkably generous; even with multiple suitcases spread out,

there was still plenty of space. It felt so roomy, you could practically lie down next to them with room to spare,

making it ideal for family trips or those traveling with children.

Thanks to the plush beds that offered stable support and the immaculately maintained bedding,

it was perfect for a comfortable rest after a day of island hopping.

What I especially appreciated were the power outlets conveniently located on both sides of the bed,

making it easy to charge electronics. Plus,

the lighting controller was also installed right by the bed,

so I could switch off the lights or

adjust their brightness without even getting up – super practical!

Opposite the beds, there was a TV, a table, and a mirror,

which made it really convenient for doing my makeup or styling my hair in the morning.

The table space was also quite generous, perfect for placing essential items during the trip

or having my cosmetics out and ready for use.

On one side of the table, there was an electric kettle, complimentary bottled water,

mug coffee, and tea bags. A mini-refrigerator was also conveniently located under the table.

Inside the refrigerator, you'll find a paid mini-bar,

stocked with cola, lemon-lime soda, San Miguel beer, and bottled water.

The mini-bar price list is placed on the table;

please note that all items will be charged upon checkout.

Inside the room, there were plenty of extra hangers,

which was handy for hanging up clothes or swimsuits worn during the trip.

A personal safe was also provided in one of the drawers,

which came in useful for storing valuables.

The bathroom featured a separated sink and shower area,

making it super convenient even when multiple people were staying together.

At the sink, hand wash was readily available,

and they thoughtfully provided fresh, fluffy towels, a hairdryer, extra toilet paper,

along with toothbrushes and toothpaste as standard amenities.

Even if we stayed for multiple nights and didn't request daily room cleaning,

if we needed more towels, a quick call to reception brought them right to our door.

This meant we could enjoy a long stay without any inconvenience whatsoever.

The shower area was equipped with shampoo and body wash,

and the hot water flow was excellent, ensuring a comfortable shower every time.

Overall, the space felt quite generous,

so whether we were getting ready in the morning or washing up after a swim,

we never felt cramped or confined.

One more reason why I chose Fairways Resort for this Boracay trip

was definitely its golf course!

Having a golf course right within the resort means

you can enjoy both your stay and a round of golf all in one go.

This is a huge advantage, especially for those looking for a Boracay hotel specifically for golfing,

as it significantly cuts down on travel time.

Plus, you can use the resort's internal shuttle to get to the golf course,

sparing you the hassle of figuring out your own transport from your room.

It truly made getting from our room to the golf course a breeze!

It was wonderful to play golf in the morning and then relax by the pool in the afternoon,

or simply spend time on the private beach.

It was incredibly easy to craft our daily itinerary right within the resort.

This makes it an ideal Boracay accommodation for families and golf enthusiasts alike,

who want to combine a family vacation with a golfing getaway!

If I had to pick just one standout feature of Fairways Resort,

I'd undoubtedly highlight its swimming pools!

With multiple pools scattered throughout the resort,

from those conveniently located near our room

to a stunning outdoor infinity pool, there was such a wonderful variety to enjoy.

Among them, the infinity pool with its breathtaking ocean views

was absolutely perfect for capturing amazing photos.

Thanks to the expansive sea stretching beyond the pool,

we didn't even need to venture out to White Beach

to fully soak in that quintessential resort vibe.

The second major perk for guests at Boracay's Fairways Resort is

the fantastic private beach.

Rather than the bustling, lively atmosphere typical of central spots like White Beach,

this is the perfect sanctuary for anyone who wants to relax peacefully

while gazing out at the serene ocean.

It was lovely to enjoy some fun in the pool and then transition to the sea,

or spend time on the beach before heading back to the resort

to unwind.

Because of this, I really felt that among all the Boracay resorts,

this place is especially well-suited for travelers who enjoy spending a lot of their time

within the resort itself.

If you like to keep active and maintain your fitness even while traveling,

then you'll definitely appreciate the gym at Fairways Resort.

The resort boasts a well-equipped fitness center,

perfect for squeezing in a workout in the morning or evening,

after a day of swimming or hitting the golf course.

Security checks are conducted at the resort entrance, and since the grounds are so expansive, you'll use the resort's shuttle for internal transportation, which means there isn't a separate parking lot provided.
