📌 Thermal Valley (Hell Valley)

Thermal Valley is the source of Beitou's hot spring water.

As you get closer, a pungent sulfur smell, like rotten eggs, fills the air,

earning it the name 'Thermal Valley' (or Hell Valley) because of its hell-like atmosphere.

With water temperatures between 85-100℃, steam constantly rises,

creating a mystical sight.

In front of the entrance, there's a pot where the hot spring water from Thermal Valley flows,

and you can dip your hand in to experience the water temperature firsthand.

📌 Hot Spring Museum

Built in 1913 as a public bathhouse,

it now operates as a hot spring museum.

Constructed during the Japanese colonial period, it has a distinct Japanese vibe,

The spacious tatami room on the second floor used to be a relaxation space where people would drink tea and chat after bathing.
