Be Confit Busan Review 2026: Best Laptop-Friendly Cafe
Discover Be Confit, Busan's premier laptop-friendly cafe in Jeonpo. Featuring quiet workspaces, delicious poke bowls, and even dog chairs for your pup!
As a digital nomad who is always wandering around Seomyeon and Jeonpo looking for the perfect workspace, I have some pretty high standards.
My checklist isn't actually that complicated: I just need a quiet, comfortable space where I can work on my laptop for 2 to 3 hours without feeling like I'm overstaying my welcome. Today, I finally checked out Be Confit, a highly recommended spot popular with local students and remote professionals alike.

How to Find Be Confit

Be Confit is located about a 10-minute walk from either Jeonpo Station (Exit 7) or Seomyeon Station (Exit 6). Having tried several laptop-friendly cafes near Jeonpo Station without finding "the one," I walked in with high hopes this time.

When I arrived, I noticed three parking spots right next to the building. However, these are not dedicated cafe spaces. If you're driving, the closest paid parking lot is Gyeongmu Parking Lot located at 225 Jeonpo-daero.
The Interior

I stepped inside right around noon, and there were plenty of open seats. By 2:00 PM, however, the place was completely packed, even though it was a regular weekday. It's clearly a local favorite!

The vibe here is incredibly peaceful. There wasn't much loud chatting; instead, everyone was focused on their phones, reading, or typing away on their laptops.

It really is the ultimate spot for deep focus or getting lost in a good book. Plus, it's incredibly accommodating—they have high chairs for kids, dog-friendly seating, and even custom dog chairs for your furry companions!

They even sell cute little potted plants. I used to raise plants when I lived alone, but between my busy schedule and traveling so much, I can't keep up with pets or plants these days. It was nice to just admire them here, though!
The Menu

Let's look at the menu. A standard Americano is priced at ~$3, and a Cafe Latte is ~$4. I also loved seeing unique drinks made with regional Korean ingredients, like Cheongsong apples and Jeju Gujwa carrots.

They also serve poke bowls, which is a huge plus for me! While salad spots are easy to find in Busan, finding a really good, fresh poke bowl can be surprisingly difficult.

They have an impressive selection of freshly baked ciabatta on display. This place is already famous locally as a top-tier dessert and bakery spot.

If you need a quick lunch while working, ordering one of their signature sandwiches or a fresh ciabatta is a fantastic option.

The lighting here is gorgeous, making it incredibly easy to snap aesthetic photos. Best of all, because everyone is so engrossed in their own work, nobody minds if you take a few photos of your coffee.

That wraps up my review of Be Confit, a spacious, work-friendly cafe near Jeonpo Station in Busan. I spent about 3 hours here and was incredibly productive. It is easily one of my new favorite spots in the city. By the time I left, the large communal tables were completely filled with people studying and working. If you want to grab the best seat, I highly recommend arriving early in the morning!
