About the Hotel

This is🏩 Band Hotel Hakata.
(Band hotel hakata)
Band Hotel acquired a building that was previously operated as a hotel,
and completely renovated it.
It's the Band Hotel, which opened in the second half of 2025! 🏨✨
This hotel, which opened in 2025 after remodeling an existing building,
has a clean, business hotel feel from the outside,
and as expected of a new hotel, the facilities are in
truly pristine condition, which I love 🤭

📍 Location
- 2-4-14 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku,
810-0003 Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan
- Canal City: 6-minute walk
- Fukuoka Airport: 24 minutes
- Kushida Jinja-mae Station: 11-minute walk
- Tenjin Station: 16-minute walk
It's a bit of a distance from Tenjin Station, which many people frequent,
so honestly, I was a little worried about the location at first,
but after experiencing it myself, getting around wasn't inconvenient at all.

The room I stayed in this time was
the Junior Suite, the largest room in the hotel!
Even though there were just two of us,
they graciously invited us to stay in the largest room.

Honestly, I visited before there were any reviews,
so I had no idea what the room would be like,
but I was amazed as soon as I entered.
The living room and bedroom are separate,
and there's even a mini-kitchen.
Aside from the most luxurious Japanese hotels,
I wondered if I'd ever seen such a spacious room!
No wonder, as many Japanese hotel rooms are around 15㎡,
but this one is a whopping 53㎡.

The hotel is located across from Canal City.
From the room I stayed in,
I could see the Nakasu River view and the Canal City buildings.
Whenever I've traveled to Japan, I've often been disappointed by the views,
but this unobstructed river view was wonderful.

There's a mini kitchen, perfect for simple cooking,
and a space where you can enjoy your meals.
When you think of Japan, supermarket sushi is famous, right?
It seems like a great idea to buy some and enjoy it here.
(I'll definitely have to try it next time I go!)

Inside the room, there's even a microwave
and a full tea ceremony set!

The bathroom has a bathtub,
and get this – two sinks! How cool is that?!
I enjoyed listening to music with the bathtub's Bluetooth function,
and it really felt like all my travel fatigue just melted away.
(Bluetooth function available in select rooms only)

Band Hotel isn't just for couples;
they also have larger rooms for 3-4 people,
making it perfect for trips with friends or, especially, family vacations.
While staying there, I thought,
'This would be absolutely perfect for a mother-daughter trip!'
So, what about the price?

This hotel is available starting from the lowest price
in the ~$146 range.
While the price alone might not scream 'value for money,'
the condition and quality you get for this price are truly exceptional,
And for the 3-4 person rooms, when you split the cost,
I think the price becomes really reasonable.

The room I used was for 3 people,
and it's available starting from the ~$219 range.

I found that this hotel is usually
cheapest on Agoda.

So, what was the hotel experience like?!

Check-in was smooth thanks to a Korean-speaking staff member.
You can also check in easily using the self-check-in machine.
Check-in is from 3 PM.
Check-out is by 10 AM.

I was a bit worried about the 10 AM check-out time,
but they offer luggage storage, so it wasn't a big inconvenience.

There's a convenience store right nearby,
so I recommend grabbing some delicious snacks on your way back.
I enjoyed watching TV in the living room
while having a drink.

If it rains or the weather isn't great,
you can pick up an umbrella from the lobby.
I actually encountered a sudden downpour during this trip,
and the umbrella really saved me!

This is the hotel rooftop.
It could be a great spot if you want to eat food with strong smells
or just need some fresh air.
So, what's the overall verdict on Band Hotel?!
