My first stop right after landing in Sydney, Australia was

I stayed here for two nights by myself,
and it's a super clean place where you can even cook!

Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach

I took bus number 333 from Museum Station
to get to Bondi Beach.
Actually, my itinerary had me heading straight to Bondi Beach
right after landing at the airport.
The journey from the Bondi Beach bus stop to the Adina Apartment Hotel,
especially dragging two suitcases, was not easy at all.
That's because it's all uphill...⭐
If you're like me, traveling solo with two suitcases,
I highly recommend just taking an Uber or DiDi.

At Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach,
check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.
However, I arrived around 2 PM and asked if an early check-in was possible,
and they said yes!
So I was able to head straight to my room.
The deposit was just 1 AUD,
making it super easy to pay!

Next to the lobby, you'll also find a swimming pool and a gym!

After about 10 hours on a long-haul flight,
and 30-40 minutes on the bus holding onto two suitcases,
I was already exhausted.
I just quickly snapped a photo in the mirror by the elevator
and rushed to find my room and settle in.

I booked a Studio Room through Agoda.
For a 2-night stay from Saturday to Monday, it was ~$300 per night (tax included)!
I stayed in Room 207 for 2 nights and 3 days.
Studio Room
Cooking facilities available, 5-minute walk from Bondi Beach

As soon as you open the Studio Room door, you're greeted by the kitchen and table!
The bathroom is on your right when you open the door.
The Kitchen

Since the Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach offers cooking facilities,
it's great not just for your first couple of nights,
but also perfect for staying later in your trip.
Honestly, during the first day or two of a trip,
I tend to spend freely,
so I had absolutely no intention of cooking in the room, haha.
The sink, capsule coffee machine, dishwasher, sponge, and more
are all neatly prepared!

There's also a variety of capsule coffees and teas available.

Beyond that, there's a variety of dinnerware,
as well as a toaster, electric kettle, and a refrigerator.
So, if you're planning on doing some cooking, you'll be all set!
And with large supermarkets right in front of and to the right of the hotel,
you can easily grab all your ingredients whenever you need them!
Living Room & Bedroom

Right next to the kitchen, you'll find the living room and bedroom!
The living room boasts a four-person dining table and a comfy sofa,
plus a wall-mounted Samsung TV!
Honestly, for just one person, the room feels a little (okay, a lot!) spacious, haha.

There's also a mini terrace,
but being on the inner side of the second floor,
the view isn't particularly spectacular.
So, I ended up keeping the curtains closed most of the time!

And right by the sofa, you'll find the double bed bedroom!
You *could* separate the space with the movable wall next to the sofa,
but since I was traveling solo, I didn't bother using it as a divider.
I just left it open and enjoyed the expansive feel.

On the inner wall of the bedroom, there's a dedicated spot for your luggage, a safe,
an iron, an ironing board, and hangers!

The bedside table lamp!
Across all the accommodations I stayed at in Sydney,
the power outlets generally have an on/off switch above them.
If you bring a multi-outlet power strip with a transformer from Korea, it might be too bulky
and difficult to use because of its size...!
It would be better to just buy a simple travel adapter (often called a 'pig nose' adapter in Korea)
and connect your power strip to that.

Here's a peek at the living room from the bedroom!
Both the bed and the sofa were super comfortable,
so I often found myself taking naps on the sofa!
Bathroom

And here's the bathroom and shower!

Hand and body lotion, and hand and body wash.
Shampoo and conditioner are provided,
and the showerhead can even be swapped out!
I switched to a filter showerhead right after checking in!

I changed the shower filter every two days,
but it wasn't nearly as dirty as I've seen in some Southeast Asian countries~

You'll find a hairdryer and extra toilet paper in the drawer,
so keep that in mind when you need them!

If you open the built-in wardrobe door to the right of the sink,
you'll discover a washing machine and dryer.
Detergent is also provided,
so if you're planning to swim at the beach or do some laundry during your trip,
you'll be more than satisfied!
I did my laundry on the second day before moving on to my next accommodation, haha.

There's a full-length mirror behind the bathroom,
which I totally used as my selfie zone before heading out!

I had such a fantastic time enjoying my solo trip at
the Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach!
While a night might cost between ~$225 and ~$300,
it's quite close to Bondi Beach,
(a 5-10 minute walk)
and with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby,
I was really happy with its location!
(Just a heads-up, though: that uphill walk with a suitcase can be a bit tough... haha)
Generally, the surrounding restaurants are open until about 11 PM,
so there's some ambient noise,
but after that, it gets incredibly quiet, so I had no issues with my stay.
Also, after 9 PM? Or maybe 10 PM?
you'll need to tap your room key at the entrance
for the lobby's automatic doors to open!
If you're planning a relaxed trip to Sydney,
I definitely recommend spending a night or two in Bondi Beach!
I'll also include the link where I booked on Agoda!
